Drinking water systems and custom installation solutions are available. Captive Purity Reverse Osmosis Systems are engineered and manufactured under strict guidelines to produce extremely pure water with exceptional focus on minimizing phosphates and silicates. This is a very important feature for reef aquariums.

Comments: Top-of-the-line system at a value price. Having had several RODI's in the past, I like this one the best. Good construction (although the white plastic "tray" where the canister attach could be a little heavier duty). The canisters themselves are quite beefy, and I imaging could take a lot of abuse. Clear canisters are a must, as I tend to let filters go to long, and this way, you get a visual check every time you use the system. Electronic water quality meter measures incoming and outgoing water, which is fun feature. The quick connect fittings make hookup deceptively easy. Also convenient that this comes with a standard garden hose type fitting.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have a 240 gallon tank and my tap water is terrible. Lugging containers to the local store to buy water was impractical. This unit provides me with 70 gallons of water every 24 hours. Plenty for all my tanks and then some. I get 360ppm going in and 000ppm coming out. The digital TDS meter is great so I know when the cartidges need replacing. No guessing by them changing color.
