Comments: The price was what attracted me to this item. It does everything I need for my 75 gallon aquarium. It runs 2 Korallia -4s, my heater, my lights (2 pair of T-5s) and my kalkwasser reactor. It could probably handle my top-off, but I already have something for that.
Lots of flexibility as you specify what does what - when and for how long. There is a sample program that covers a lot of options. I used it initially until I got a chance to write something of my own.
You should know that this is just the controller and you will have to buy something for it to control (the power outlets). This can be an expensive add-on if you get the large device. If you are on a budget, you should find out everything you need to make it complete. I also got a pH monitor.
The set-up was straight forward, but it could take a few hours to get everything connected and working the way you want it.
I had one problem with the programming and the manufacturer responded to my e-mail with the solution a few hours later.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Like the instructions state in the opening line, the programming for this is a little daunting to begin with, but after I interpreted the pin settings, deleted all of the default names and programs, and tested 1 component at a time everything fell into place. I only use it for the basics, temp and the luna Cycle, but the dimmable moon lights and moon cycle programming are great, adding another dimension to our tank. I am unable to use the power boards in Australia due to different power plugs, so some of the other features aren't too useful. But if I could use the power boards, it would be a brilliant package.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
