Comments: Price was great with the 33% sale that was going on. But I would not pay full price for this bulb. Is way to white for a 14k. I dont know if it has to "break-in", but as it stands now, I dont really like the color. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Aquamaxx 150 14k by CHRIS

Comments: I just replaced my 14k Phoenix with the Aquamaxx 14k a few days ago.It's actually a fairly nice bulb, but it does look a lot different than my Phoenix. The Phoenix is a crisper white and the Aquamaxx has a deeper blue tint to it. My corals are happy and my wallet couldn't beat it since I got it on special in Dec. The neon greens pop out more, but I noticed that my blues and purples kind of blend in with the coraline algae now. Oranges aren't as vibrant, but still look good. I'm hoping it'll change a little once the bulb breaks in. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: these are right up there with the best looking 20k bulbs and have typical 20k output. these are 14k like phoenix are 14k (20k bulbs labelled 14k). dont be turned off by the price or name. either it should cost more or others should cost less. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Nice blue color. Very crisp and made the corals glow nicely. I suppliment with led atinics for extra blue but I think they are fine as stand alone lights. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Too Blue by Wet Thumb

Comments: I normally run 3 - 150 watt 13 K Geismann bulbs. When the bulbs arrived I decided to install the two outside locations with these new buls and keep the one nwere 13 K Geismann in the middle. While the intensity of the bulbs is acceptable the clor of the bubs is almost as blue as the pc atinics I run. I know sometimes metal halide bulbs take some time to drift to thier correct color but these are really blue. I don't think 13 K to 14 K should be that much of a difference. Time will tell how the corals and anemone respond to this light. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this bulb not knowing what to expect. I got the bulb and place it on my 20" Sunpod and couldn't been happier the color is beautiful. I would recommend this bulb for anybody looking for a 14K bulb. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Just tried the 150 watt DE Aquamaxx. I was blown away by the color. I always recommended the Iwasaki 50K and the Radium 20K as the best of the 150 watt bulbs. My first impressions are that these bulbs are even better! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
