I have tried, Ham 14K, Ushio 20K, and others. Like this bulb the best (so do my corals), especially for price!!
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

After one month of using these bulbs I found that htey have nice bright light with a tint of blue to them. however I am not getting quite the growth out of my corals and frags that I have with other 14K bulbs. They fire quickly on my Galaxy ballast and seem to burn true. Overall i feel they are an average bulb.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

They look just like the 14k Hamiltons that I have been using, maybe not quite as blue, but for about half the cost... they're a great bargain!
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

The Aquamaxx bulbs seem to be a great value. I replaced some year old XM 20Ks. The 14K is bluer than I would've expected, but still acceptable. The coral that responded the most was the Bubble. It is fuller now than under the 20K lights, even though the shift in spectrum seems minor. I am very pleased so far with these bulbs, just make sure you are looking for a 20K look when purchasing these 14K bulbs.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

This 250W bulb is alot more blue than "14000k". Its more like 20000K to me. I wanted a bluer bulb than my usual 10K XM and thought this would be the perfect choice.....but color is too blue and not very intense.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

I bought my light hood used with reportedly cheap Ebay bulbs 175W 14K bulbs. When I just replaced one bulb I could see the distinct difference with a sharp blue tint and of course brighter. I waited a month to see how it would drop off and still much better color and intensity. Then swapped out the final two so all three were AquaMaxx and BAM! I wish I would have done this from the beginning! And I'm finally seeing some better coral growth.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

This 14000K (250W)is bluer than others. This is the bulb to use rather than 20000K (too blue) if you don't want supplemental actinics. I have 2 PC actinics which when turned on doesn't make the tank bluer. It just intensifies the overall lighting - so I they're off when the Metal Halide is on. It is a lot bluer than my Hamiltons which just has a hint of blue like most 14000K's
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

What a great deal! These bulbs made my tank look great. Very nice blend of colors. Just enough blue to make my corals pop with color, yet still makes the sand look nice and white.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

I bought this after having my Hamilton 14k for almost a year. I was really impressed with the color, it's just a little bit bluer than the Hamilton was. I don't have a PAR meter to measure the output, but all my corals have been growing more since I changed out the bulb.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
