Comments: just got this lamp to add on to my 75g reef until i can get mh lamps. It is compact puts out good light, i wish it would have come with a fax to help cool the bulbs and more than two led moonlights would have been nice. But overall for the price its a good lamp. Also it DOES come with legs to raise it above your tank, The description is not clear on this so i ordered a set any way and now don't need them.. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This was the pefect light for the new tank we were setting up for corals. We are using a 20 gallon long tank and it will work great. We wish it had a built in fan but for the price it can't be beat. The moon light is an added plus. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Just using this on my smaller carnivorous tank. Looks great, mounts perfect with legs. Don't have corals in this tank though so not sure but use this brand (stronger lights) on my reef tank and they have worked great so far. This is the only brand I will buy. Quality over time. They stand behind the product too. One of the fans on the reef tank lights was slightly louder than the others so they sent me a replacement fan. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Love the light. It really brought new life to our tank! Was told at the store I needed a $200+ light. Glad I searched around before I had them order and put half down. Even though there are no fans....heat buildup does not seem to be an issue. Very good product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great upgrade for my JBJ 3 gallon pico. Puts off almost no heat and the light is just right. Current makes the best affordable lights IMO. I have a Sunpod MH on my display that works great also. I would highly recommend. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a perfect light for soft corals and mushrooms, it is not heavy and does not put out extreme heat.The bulbs are easy to remove and replace.The mounting legs are not as heavy duty as I would have preferred so I hung it as a pendant which is great. Comments: I ran ubder the stock JBJ Picotope light for a year now and just replaced it with this light. Sweet Light! All of a sudden my colors are starting to pop and my ricordeas have quit reaching to the sky in search of light! Great ease of use for the Marine Depot website, the light was ordered Tuesday and here on the east coast Monday ready for me to install! Only "wish" comment on the Satelite is that I wish the LED was blue - else all is good! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This 65 watt pc is one of the best I've found out there for the price. It was easy to setup and looks like hardly any maintanence to keep it running, even though there are no fans on it. There also is no way to shut off the moonlight feature unless you unplug it. I have a bunch of foreground plants that are doing great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great light! It is exactly what I expected to recieve. It worked like a charm first thing without having to mess around with a balast. The lens on this unit is very easy to clean and setup only requires a #2 philips screw driver. The only thing I can think of as a flaw is that the LED and the tube do not share a common power supply source. If the DC converter was inside of the housing and ran off the same source voltage as the tube I think this would be a perfect light for many tank owners. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I really like this lamp.It is very attractive,Easy to install.I like where the on/off switch is located, I just walk by and flip the switch don't have feel around the back of the light to find the switch.I love the led light at night. It gives off just enough light to make it look like the moon is shining on the aquarium.I have it on a 30 gallon OCeanic Aquarium it looks great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The lighting is excellent, my corals and fish love it on my 75 gallon tank. The dual lunar lighting is pretty neat. The fan is a bit loud, but its worth it-just ignore it like you do with your other pumps and small motors! In the photo shows two switches, there is only on on model 1006. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I got this light last week for my 5 gal nano reef. Its the prefect size for it and light output is great. My coarals are all fully open, and look great under it. The moon light is a great feature as well, just wish it had a switch for it. It has a seperate tranformer plug, that you have to plug and unplug to turn on and off, not a big deal if you have a timer. the fixture also come with mounting legs that keep it about 2.5 3 inches off the top. All in all im very pleased with it and my next tank will have a Current usa fixture over it. And dealing with marine depot was great to, i only got standard shipping so it took five days to get here, but it arrived on the day they said it would. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am very happy with this product. I purchased the 20 inch version for my 10 gallon tank. It is very bright for 40 watts. This unit does not have a cooling fan and it does not really need it. It does not radiate a lot of heat into the room nor does it increase the temperature of the water in my tank anymore than the 15 watt fluorescent light that came with my tank. ( Please note I use the included mounting brackets which raises the fixture a few inches off the top of the tank. I keep the tank uncovered, which is not recommended by Current USA.) The lunar LED is a nice feature for nighttime viewing however I do believe 2 LEDs' would have been better like on other larger units. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The light is awesome! Unlike past fixtures that I have bought the built in fan does actually keep the fixture from getting hot. The one draw back of the fan in this light is that it is loud compared to other fixtures I have owned, but as long as it is keeping the fixture cool it can be as loud as it wants. Comments: I just received this light fixture, and I have to say I'm very happy with it now that it's running! The light has a vivid blue hue to it, and it really brings out the colors in the fish. It almost has a black light effect on the light colored decorations. The fish are much easier to see and I was even able to spot some guppy fry I hadn't seen before! It is certainly a massive improvement over the original 25 watt bulb that came with my aquarium, which is a 30 gallon tank. The fan is a little bit noisy, but I'm used to having a completely silent tank, as my filter doesn't make any noise. I'm going to experiment a bit to see if it really needs to be on, or if it'll be okay without it. It seems like the fan keeps the whole lighting fixture at room temperature, so when it's running it probably won't alter the water temperature at all. One other thing worth mentioning is that it seems like the light was really designed to be used with timers, because there are 3 adaptors to be plugged in; one for the overnight light, one for the 65 watt light, and another for the fan. I've always planned to get a timer when I planted the aquarium again to make sure the plants were getting the proper amount of lighting, so it's not a huge issue for me. So far, I only have one real complaint. I had some trouble getting the light ready to go. I couldn't find any owner's manual at all provided with the light, so I was putting the light together myself. I mainly had trouble figuring out exactly how to remove the splash guard to get at the light bulbs. (It turned out I was being a bit too gentle with trying to pull it out of its slot.) I found a manual online, but it just told you what to do in what order, but not how to go about it. I did eventually figure out it had to be coming out the way I figured it should come out, and once I figured that out it was very straight forward from there. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've had this lamp for over 2 weeks now and it seems to work great. no problems. 40W is deffinately enough power for a 10gal nano size tank. And believe me, this is a very bright lamp. Better than Std. flouresent lamps. No waiting when you flick the switch. I just want to know how to control my algea then everything will be perfect! Comments: Better than I expected, my tank (20gal long)just came alive after installing this light. Also mine came with the mounting legs( not mentioned in description) so don't buy a set like I did. To run the day and night lights( automatically) I had to get two timers( there are 3 power cords), the fan and day light on one and the night light on the other( Current USA documentation on this one point is very weak). Better Documentation on the lights set and I would have scored 5 stars. So far I'm very happy with this light. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

I was initially concerned that it does not come with a fan, but it seems to run cool enough without it. It even came with legs, which is not true of the Coralife products.
