Comments: Have had this light installed for about a week now on my FO Marine 29gal High tank and am impressed. Good wattage for a 30" casing giving me 3.8 watts/gal which would be enough for most coals. Considering a comparable Metal Halide light would run about 2.5x the price, you really can’t beat the value. Plus I consider Current USA to be one of the best name brands in tank lighting! Would recommend this light to anyone starting out with hardy corals and doesn’t have deep pockets for Metal Halide. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Choose the Dual because it includes the fan and I wanted more light. The fixture is nice & bright with independent On/Off switches. The Fan and built-in moonlight are always ON (not switched). The only cons I have is the transformers for the Fan and moonlight are hardwired to the light fixture. For the price you cannot go wrong with this light. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I love this unit. I bought it for my 20 gallon long office reef. Unit functions great and light quality and spectrum looks amazing. Seperate switch for actinics is a plus. I have the lights on timers and this unit has been spot on. As others have said the fan is a bit loud but not unbearable and I've heard it's not too difficult to switch out for another. All in all I am very pleased with this unit. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Had for about a month. Searched around for 130w 24" Light fixture and couldn't find anything in my budget except cheap Odyssea and Jebo stuff, then I found the Current USA fixture and found what i was looking for. My Break down; Pros: Great price, legitimate brand Cons: Loud fan For the seperate cords thing, I like em sort of. I have two 2 outlet digital times and use them to make a dusk/dawn effect in my tank. I also have the fan stuck in with the atinic lights, so that the loud fan only blows during the day when Im awake. Keep the moon light on all the time. I love it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Overall I am happy with the light. Its a nice upgrade from my 65w coralife. Even with the actinic off it is still brighter so the bulb quality seems higher. Same problems as everyone else really. The fan is pretty loud but not so loud to invest money or time modifying it. the Moonlight could be blue but that's a dollar fix with a new LED bulb from radio shack. and the 4 cords is pretty ridiculous especially sense you cannot turn off the moonlight or fan,they must be unplugged. Overall I still give the light a good review. its affordable, stays cool and does the job very well. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Good light for the price. Really lit up the aquarium. The fish became much more active when this light was put on. I did receive it with a burnt out bulb and marinedepot immediately sent me a new bulb. Great customer service! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Outstanding all-in-one lighting system. It comes with four plugs, one for the internal fan, one for a moon light setting, one for the blue lights, and one for the white lights. They can be placed on separate timers for 24 hours of lighting effects (which is recommended by the manufacturer). Previous reviews state how loud the internal fan is for the system, but it is not loud at all. The sound of the filters and pumps are louder than the fan; which is about as loud as an internal fan for a computer. There is a note with the instructions stating that this fixture should not be placed under a hood or canopy. However, it runs much cooler than my previous lighting fixture, uses less wattage, provides more light and is compact enough that I can elevate it off of the tank surface and still fit the hood over this fixture. To ensure it remains cool, I placed an aftermarket 3 inch computer fan on the same timer as the blue and white fluorescent lights to ensure that the air does circulate and push out of the hood (which keeps it about 50% cooler than my last lighting system. This will keep from raising the tank temperature from the lights. I highly recommend this lighting system for your tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Good: Very compact and good finishing. No temp change even with the fixture sitting on top of the glass. It comes with the support for higher mount. My corals loved it! Bad: Fan is too lound that disturbed me watching TV. I had to mod for a quiet one (no big deal). Also has toooo many cables one for each lamp and two power adaptor (moonlight and fan)so be ready to by another power center. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is my first real light and it's unreal how bright it is. I didn't think it would make that much difference in the look but it did. I looked all over the internet for a good cheap light and this is the one that fit for me. I don't like that the fan stay on all the time unless it's on a timer, I just unplug it everynight and plug it back in the morning. I do wish the LED's were blue, and the stay on all the time, also. So far I'm really happy with this light. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The unit is extremely bright and it looks like daylight in my aquarium. I noticed the few fish I have became more active when I installed the light. The coral will surely receive all the light they need. One great benefit I did not realize is the blue actinic lights have a separate on/off switch than the daylight bulbs, so if you want to view the coral under the blue light only, simply turn off the daylight bulbs and the colors in the corals really stand out. The fan is a little loud but not too bad, but given the small space available in a light hood, the small fan has to turn quite fast to move enough air to cool the bulbs. I can live with it. Great lights and very reasonably priced. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased this fixture to replace my 175 watt metal halide setup I have on my coral popagation tank. I originaly purchased the Current USA to save a little money on my electricity bill but soon after setting it up realized that the quality of light output was far better than the more expensive halide fixture I was running. The dual cooling fans and moonlight are a definite plus as well. As I said...this is a very nice product, in more ways than one. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Excellent value for the money, but it has two flaws. (1) Too many wires. 2 for lights+1 for LED moonlight+1 for the fan. You need 4 outlets! (2) Very noisy. I replaced the fans next day with low noise computer blowers. Just be aware, one of the fans has 45 mm rotor. This size is quite rare in computer parts. Original cooling system design is dumb - both fans blow air out but the lighting fixture is essentially sealed and there is no intake openings, so the airflow is poor. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: In all of my other fixtures, the moonlights are blue. I was disappointed that these are white. I don't know if that is contributing to my problem, but now I have a real brown algae problem that I've never had before. I also would like to know if there are taller "legs" I could purchase for this fixture. Maybe the light is too close to the water. I've done 2 massive water changes, but if I leave the light on for even 3 or 4 hours, the rusty brown algae takes over in that length of time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I read reviews and was concered and worried but figured it was a good price.. this thing sounds like I have small airplane waiting to take off and it has four plugs and only two led's that are white not blue... I hate and would never recommend this product I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: this is a great fixture - seems to be very high quality, is very bright(especially compared to the 96 watts of NO I used previously), and has individual switches/ power cords. On the downside, it has a few annoyances that prevent it from being excellent. the fan is extremely noisy(luckily I had two 50mm fans laying around, which were much quieter). A quieter fan, individual reflectors, and a second LED moon light would make this fixture perfect. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
