Long term use

This iteam is over priced and is not made as sturdy at it made out to seem. I used mine and take care of it rinse it out after very use as we all know metal and salt don't mix. I have used it with care as I do all my equipment last time I went to use it the jaws don't close they don't lock. For being made of metal and the price I would think I get a life time use out this iteam. Don't waste ur money on this

Heavy duty grippers

Yes,They are a little pricey but they are a heck of a lot better than those " universal" home depot plastic picker uppers that you see at most aquarium shops. Very well built and they really should last a lifetime,...,Easy to use and they can reach in areas where those plastic ones can't , the jaws grip very tightly also.

Marllin

Best cleaning device I have used for removing hair algae. It is heavy because of the stainless steel, but unlike the plastic tongs, you know this will never break.

OK

The product works as advertised. It did rust after about a week, even though it was wiped down after every use.

24 inch long marllin tool

Wow! What a great tool. You can use it for so many things and boy is it tough. I have moved what you would thought was immovable with this tool. It is also great for tight areas. You really need one of these. One thing that could be a problem for some is if you have muscle weakness or atrophy of your biceps or triceps, possibly even your hands with arthritis. The tool feels heavy after long periods of use. The angle of the tool can also cause tension in your wrist. Otherwise, for the majority of us; it's a great tool.
