Comments: These retrofits are great. They are easy to assemble and give off a great deal of light. I have other retrofits that I bought a whie back and they do not compare to the sunpaq ones. I recently switched the old bulbs to the sunpaq and what a difference they make. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought one 2 years ago and it had a smaller ballast and cables. It burned out on me last month so I had to buy a whole new one. It works good but I hope it will last as this will be my last one. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The retrofit seems brighter than the 96W version that comes in the enclosure fixture. Easy to install however bulb arrived broken. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: High quality parts; easy to install. It's almost the price of a complete hood, so I'm not sure I would go the retrofit route next time. If you already have a hood that's worth keeping but need a lighting boost, this is the way to go. By the way, two of these 96W bulbs and reflectors can fit in a 36" TRUVU hood. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: These lights are amazing. I had 3 Hamilton 250w MH on my tank before, I switch to 3 of these Powercompacts and the light is amazing, less heat, less energy used...means more $$ in my pocket. Very easy to install Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The light itself works fairly well, but the plug that needs to be fed through the canopy and transformer at the end of the cord are huge. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Marine depot is top notch when it comes to products and service. Prices are cheapest around and never experienced a problem. Customer service is great and if something is damaged or the wrong product they quickly ship the correct one out. As far as the light goes it works fine, bulbs are good for over a year. The ballast went after 3 yrs, don't know if that is a good lifespan for that. Mike Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: A lot of light for 18". It's on a 80 gal fish only corner tank now, and for a week it was the sole light on the tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I needed more powerful lighting for my Eclipse 12 gallon Nano setup and this fir in perfect. 2 screws and voila! The remote ballast is a great way to save room in the hood. The bulb came in in perfect shape and the color spectrum is very nice. Now I can add the corals I have been wanting to add for a while. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: 15 inch 1x32 Watt Current USA PowerCompact SunPaq Retrofit Kit. I needed to replace the fluorescent light in an Eclipse hood with something brighter. It was easy to install and the light is much brighter now. I drilled a couple of 2" holes in the Eclipse hood, which seems to be providing adequate ventilation without the use of a fan. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
