Comments: The light system came well packaged and upon installation I was very pleased with the color complexity that my coral and invertabrates showed. It did not come with instructions on how high to hang above my tank. Also no parts catolog to order from.I was somewhat dissapointed in the old fashioned timers that operate the lights. For this much money you would think the timers would be internal. Overall It looks to be a great addition to my tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: So far this light is great. I upgraded from a 260 watt pc light.I'm using this on a 72 bow tank with high, medium and low light requiring corals.Love the glimmer effect the halides have on the water. Corals seem to be liking it too! Now for the hardware, not what I expected, could be a little sturdier.Still worries me to raise or lower the light for water changes.Only thing I would change about the light is to have just blue or blue and white lunar lights. Shipping was fast and everything arrived in good shape. Thanks Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The fixture is great but the only bad comment I have is that when the halide turns on the actinic starts to continuously flicker. Its like when you turn on a flourecent on a very cold weather the light is like traveling from left to right with in the tube. If the actinic is the only bulb that is on the actinic is ok. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This light was everything I expected and more. After many hours of research, I made a good decision. It was well packaged, and arrived in only one day. It did have an actinic that began to flicker after they had been on awhile. However, Marine Depot was very quick to replace it free of charge. Corals are happy and the overall look is very pleasing. Would be nice to have the opportunity to have selected the "K" of the metal halide bulbs, though. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The performance of this light is excellent. However, the Actinic replacement bulbs are really hard to find. Also the replacement bulbs only come in Duals (royal blue/actinic) so for those of us who want to use or try true actinic are SOL. Current makes a version of this light that uses 4, T5 bulbs which are likely easier to find, and have better efficiency. I have serious buyers remorse. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I received my Current USA Outer Orbit three days ago and I can not say enough about this lighting system. I love the 24-hour lighting set up and the timers that come with it are perfect. This has definitely given my tank new life! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Everything I wanted. As it turns out, it's too big to sit atop the 72 gal bow-front, but once the suspension cables went up, it was the coolest thing I ever saw. Raising and lowering the height is a breeze, and setting the timers is simple. In retrospect, I maybe should have gotten 250w MH's, but this works great. Can I simply put 250's in? I don't know, but I'll find out. Anyway, it was an amazing all-in-one solution that looks great, and I waited a few months to write this review. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I did a lot of research before ordering a set of MH lights. These are far the best lights for the money. My tank looks 100% better. The lights arrived exactly when they were supposed to and installation was easy. I especially like the ceiling mounts that came with the lights. FYI-the lunar lights are white, not blue like most canopies. If you are looking for a quality set of metal halide lights without breaking the bank, Current Rocks! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I'm very impressed with this lighting system. My tank has never looked so good! The MH's start quickly, and the built in fan's and microprocessor, keep the heat out of the tank. They arrived two days after I ordered them, without a hitch. The packaging was excellent, with no damage to the material. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Excellent quality. Works great, but whoever said that you could use this without a chiller is mistaken. Temperatures start to climb significantly (+2 degrees) after about 2 1/2 hours of on time with the unit installed with the sullpied legs. I tried this with or without the glass tops in place....no difference. Knowing this, I definately woulld have purchased the 250W model along with a chiller. Now I have to cycle the lights on and off to control the temperature while I wait for delivery on a chiller that I really didn't need to buy....if you read some of the other reviews ..... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a great unit. I love the look of all the lights in one unit. The ballast for the PC burnt out after about 2 years but replacement was rather cheap and easy to install. I suspended mine from the ceiling with a wall switch that lifts them for easy cleaning as they are very heavy. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: awful. Cust. service awful, durabilty stinks, corrosion a BIG problem, ballasts do not work well after a few months. the sliding plexiglass get stuck all the time, the cheap plastic hangers crack I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I debated between his one and a Coralife, and went with Current because of the built-in electronic ballast. The quality is quite good, the hood runs quietly and the lunar lights are great! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Plexiglass covers are terrible. PC lights are not good either. Light has to be positioned too low on tank for light to penetrate to bottom (salt spray=daily maint). Cust Service not very good. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've had the 48" 2x150 Watt HQI, 2 x130 PC fixture for about 6 mos and Wow.. what a difference it makes to your corals.I even run open tops and don't run a chiller. Much nicer looking then moguls Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
