Comments: These bulbs are a little more expensive than some bulbs, but in this case you get what you pay for.The color is on the blueish side without any apparent yellow.They can be used without actinic flourescents and still provide a pleasing white blue color to the tank.I cannot say that about any other bulb that I have used with the exception of 20k bulbs, but these will provide better growth especially with clams which 20ks will not sustain for the long term.The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is the intensity is good but not great compared with other 400w bulbs that I have used (Aqualine Bushke has the brightest 10k 400w bulb in my opinion).If you want a good, bright and pleasing bulb for the owner as well as the reef inhabitants, especially if you dont want/have actinics, this bulb is for you. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have used this bulb in the past and it always has preformed great. Color intensity is the best reflecting great blues and not overpowering whites. Long lasting and perfect for any reef setup. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is the best 10K halide I have used and I have used a lot - XM, Ushio, Coralvue and AB. It appears as a bright, ice white color and is very good for SPS. It has more PAR than XM 10K bulbs and I recommend it you have a reef tank. Great for soft and hard corals. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This bulb is wonderful,if you don't like yellow light this bulb is for you. In my 24" high 125 gallon reef tank I replaced one of two 175 Watt MH with this bulb. The color is Water white to bluish white not yellow. The colors in my tank are popping. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've found this bulb to have very nice color. It's whiter than the few others that I've used / seen. I use two 175W with two 96W Compact Flourescents actinics. The actinics are 420 and 470 ea. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
