Comments: I purchased this bulb for my UV sterilizer, which I brought out of storage to help contain a dinoflagellate outbreak. Within a few days there was a marked difference in the tank's appearance and today the tank is almost dinoflagellate-free (time for a Tunze skimmer to finish 'em off). The Current USA UV Sterilizer is a great product and I'd recommend it heartily for any type of tank.
