Excellent!

Great for the Picotope by BROOKS PERRY

Comments: My Picotope aquarium came with a 9w power compact dual 10,000K/420 Actinic bulb. I decided to give it a shot with the actinic even though I have a freshwater plant setup with some low light plants. I've heard Actinic can contribute to spot algae and blue green, but i didn't really have trouble at all. The straight up 10,000K should work even better. It's been running for about 2 weeks now and it looks great. I also just trimmed, replanted and retied java moss and everything seems to be responding well with the new bulb. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
