Comments: Powerful pump, first one I bought as a replacement lasted 6 months, stopped when power turned off to it for two days and never would start again without binding up after a few minutes . This after a good cleaning, figure that one must of been a dud , impellor and parts expensive when compared to a new one,so trying another.

Comments: I ordered a new pump for my old ASM G-4 skimmer. It's over 10 years old but it was still cranking out a good bit of gunk. I figured I'd just get a new pump & try the skimmer gate valve mod & save some cash. Well, it turned out to only be the needle-wheel. So I've got a NEW backup pump too! Customer Service had it on my steps IN LESS THAN 36 HOURS from order time!! NO JOKE!!!!!

Comments: the sedra 3500 is the second pump I have bought. It stopped working both times after about a year. I thought about replacing the pin wheel but both pumps were shocking me when I tried to get the pin wheel to turn. I feel that they are dangerous and need to have better grounding in them.

Comments: This is the second pump for this skimmer. It's a great pump and little maintenance is required. When it goes it goes. No warning or problems. I had the first one for about 3 years.

Comments: I have an ASM G3 skimmer but I bought the pump for the G4 because it looked identical to what I already had while the pump for the G3 looked different. (Both are Sedra 5000s). It turns out that the outlet on my original G3 pump is 3/4" and the one on the pump for the G4 is 1/2". I simply put a 3/4" x 1/2" adapter on the pump and used the sweep and pipe from my old pump. The height was slightly off but I just needed to raise the skimmer slightly and all is good. Aside from that, there were no issues and the pump works great.
