Comments: This is a beast. One thing though if you want it to get coralline algae. It won't. But it's a beast. I bought it when it was 80 bucks. Now it's like 40. So great deal for 40 bucks. You can use it for about. Year before you have to change the pads. I have a 34g solona. And lasted one yer before I had to change The pads. And I use it everyday.

Great on Algae; ok on coraline

Comments: I have a 180 gallon with 1" thick glass. Others in my Saltwater Club suggested this as the last algae sraper I would buy. So I gave it a try and I am pleased. I went with the tiger shark because another reveiw said to go +1 on the size. Although moving the scrapper does take some effort on my part; I feel it's "pressing" against the glass harder and therefore cleaning that much more. My only complaint is that the magnets are so strong I'm scared to go around corners with it. I just sepperate the two magnets and then attach them again on the next side.

Comments: This is a good product for removing light algae.But it's not what I expected.The reviews I read stated that it could remove coraline algae from an acrylic tank. Not so. So it's back to scrapping & alot of elbow grease.

Comments: Tiger Shark algae scraper:I have a beautiful 180 gal. freshwater aquarum with tons of healthy plants. I use this scraper on the toughest remnant of horsehair algae that my brilliant sturiosoma cats can't dig off the glass. With a lot of muscle {I am a muscular guy} I finally removed the crap off the front glass.I purposely chose the biggest size available - and it turned out to be a good choice.If you work hard at this, it works.
