Comments: good piece of equipment in general; however i had two fail and when i called aqua logic i was told that it had to be plugged into a surge protector because of voltage fluctuations. pretty sure that it didn't mention that in the instructions, didn't seem to make sense. to aqua logic's credit they did replace one of the units. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I returned it because it wasn't even as sensitive as the controller in the chiller I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great way to keep temps steady, no guessing. I never trust the heaters themselves, after a horrible disaster some years back, which turned my reef into Giant Clam Chowder. this has a nice long Temp Probe cable so you can mount the unit a distance from the tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I got the dual temperature controller with the drop in chiller both from Aqua Logic and It works perfect. The temperature on the Marine Aquarium was my big headache all the time, so far I got a week with the equipment and the worries are gone....excellent and worth it equipment. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product is obviously much better than my previous controller made by Won Brothers which failed multiple times. In fact the won brothers controller is still in my tank reading 134.7 degrees! The new controller is nice because you can set the pinpoint temperature on a digital gage, not guessing on a dial. The only downside, is that there is no illuminated LCD display. I admit the won brothers controller, while I WOULD NEVER USE IT AGAIN, did have bright red numbers that you could read. Then again you were reading the wrong temperature, so was it really worth it? Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I recently installed a solar hot water system and installed a separate heat exchanger loop to my hot tub. I needed a controller that would control and maintain the temperature in the hot tub. I installed a separate circulating pump and I'm using the Aqua Logic Digital Temperature Controller - Single Stage to run it. This controller is awesome and perfect for controlling many different projects. I highly recommend this controller!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I used this controller with 2 500w heaters and it appeared to be fine; however, it quit after 10 months. I think that 1000 watts is too much for this item. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have a 14 gallon Biocube. My house reaches around mid-90's (w/o the AC on) right now because it's summer. I thought about buying a chiller for my biocube but realized that it was too much. I had to find an alternative quick. My tank temperature was ranging from 89 to 91. I decided to give the temperature controller a try. Guess what? This is the best investment I have ever made. I have a 6 inch electric fan attached to the temp. controller. Since I have owned the temp. controller, my tank have remained a confortable 79 24 hours a day. I HIGHLY recommend this product! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This controller is wonderful. All the cables and connectors are robust, and solid. Nothing is flimsy. The case looks "bomb-proof". Programming it is a snap. When the unit powers up it remembers the previous parameters. The engineers who designed this know what they are doing. It is worth the price! I use this in a science lab and have built similar controllers. But this one is superior to any of those. This unit is perfect for almost any application needing temperature control for heating or cooling. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: So far I have been using this controller for one month. I have a 500 watt heater plugged in on one end a fan on the other. This unit has been keeping the tank within one degree since I plugged it in. The thermostat is accurate, easy to setup, and the product seems well made. I wish I had bought one sooner. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I would highly recommend this temp controller. I went through 4 heaters and many thermometers as I found them all to be inaccurate. Was really having a problem keeping my reef tank at the right temp or knowing where the temp was for that matter.The day I plugged this temp controller in was the last day I had to worry! Aren't there enough things to worry about then the temp on your reef tank? I bought the two stage and will plug a chiller into it for the summer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Was having trouble with heaters this winter and knew I needed a controller to regulate the tank temps. Now it's stays within 1* all day and night. Consistency is key so this works great for me. I will be using a fan this summer to cool the tanks fuge/sump and knowing I won't have to switch it on and off will be great...I'll let the controller handle that. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: We liked it so much, that we are ordering another combination of the Temp controller and a 1000 watt heater for another system here at our coral farm, Scientific Coral. The only drawback is that their instruction manual is confusing and has some typos. They should revise it. But a quick call to their helpful Tech support guy answered my questions. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have not owned this controller long but I decided to step up to the plate and invest in a higher grade controller for controlling the temperature on my small fresh water aquarium. I have been through several other heater\controller combo units and all of them have failed in rather short order. I have never really placed a lot of value on my small fresh water tank but I also do not like throwing good money after bad. Aqua Logic is an industrial designed unit that is rugged enough for outdoor use and its build quality is top notch. The stainless steel temperature probe and all of the grounded cables are of the highest quality. Its ability to control the temperature within the defined range is exceptional. I have two wishes though. I wish it had an illuminated LED readout instead of an unilluminated LCD readout and I also wish that a grounded stainless steel heater was also available by Aqua Logic. Time will tell if this unit will be reliable but I am confident that it will be the last solution I purchase for temperature control on this tank!!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I recently lost all my corals and inverts in two days to a faulty pump that gave off heat. This would have given me time to figure out the problem. I have my heater hooked up along with a fan to this unit. Just think of this unit like purchasing coral insurance. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
