Comments: This is the second one I've had since my other one died after a few years. This is the best top off unit out there. It makes it worry free and its nice that it tops off very slowly. The hoses are small enough that I can run the line outide where the top off bucket is. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've used this ATO system for over a year with mixed results. I initially had problems with the switch not shutting off, but tech support solved that one by having me move the switch farther away from the pump - the magnetic drive in my pump was interfering with the switch operation. The pump will not autoprime unless I take the cover off the pump and hold the pump hose in. It tends to slide out from the wheels, and won't autoprime if it's not in completely. Also, it takes only a single air bubble to prevent water from moving through the pump. I have to manually reprime the pump every time I remove the intake hose from the reservoir or pour more water into the reservoir because invariably a small air bubble will become trapped in the hose. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After buying this product, it did what it was suppose to do for about 3 months. When the pump turned, it was a bit load. You knew when it was topping off the tank. That didn't bother me so much, but after 3 months I came home to a flood. It didn't register that sump was full. The regulator was positioned correctly and in the right place. I cleaned it up and put it back in my tank and it worked again for a few months, but again, I came home to another flood. I just threw it in the trash - garbage. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This thing has been nothing but a hassle. The motor has burned out. The float switch hasn't worked right and would have put 10 gal of water on my floor if I didnt catch it. I've had it about 8 months and had to send it back to the company 3 times because it hasnt worked. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This does not work well with the Red Sea Max tank. There was no way to know this before I bought it. Also, the motor is below standard, Even witht he tube well greesed, it has a hard time getting started. The gears skip a lot. Once its going it seem to be ok but the griding I hear before it gets going can't be good for it. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is junk I have had to buy 4 of these during 2007 and there plum trash. This pump comes with their nitrate reactors and calcium reactors. I run them 24 hours a day we lube the tube weekly, change out the more than every three months but when the plastic wears out and the lift tube starts moving the unit is done. The parts will move but the lift water won't. I have a 4unit doser and a two and three singles and at one week or another I repairing one of them and they ain't cheap. Write if you know a better product to you on my nitrate reactors and calcium reactors. kimrci@charter.net I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: worked great for four months, then the the plastic wheel broke. $130 and the main piece that moves the water is plastic!! great engineering guys. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The auto top-off works as expected, silently. I fill a container with enough filtered water to top-off for a week (1.5 gallon for my 37G tank). I also add 1-week amount of trace elements to the top-off water. Observations: - The product has solid construction (German, if I'm not wrong). - It comes with abundant tubing and it is very easy to setup; - It comes with a spare membrane; - You will need to have the pump screwed into the wall of your stand; - It saves me the daily work of top-off and dosing of trace elements; - I would buy it again; - It is perfectly designed for sumps. Warnings for aquarium installations: - The water-level sensor, when used inside the tank, forced the water level to be visible below the border of the tank (I'm using a All-Glass tank). Not a big deal, but to elevate the sensor I had to glue (silicon) it on top of the support, instead of just connecting the sensor to the support as designed by the manufacturer. - If the water-level sensor is used inside the tank and a snail touches it, it may unnecessarily trigger the pump and provoke an overflow. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After struggling through a few other ATO systems, this is the one! Especially since I dose with Kalkwasser and am using the Kalk Stirrer, the Niveaumat cannot be beat. Highly recommend!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: set this product up six months ago not one glitch. same pump tube as first installed new. comes with extra. buying another for seperate system. use your head and the grease. will be trouble free I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have this drawing from my fresh RO sump through my Kalk reactor for topoff. Also, the pump tubing _will_ wear quickly if the included grease is not used during installation! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It comes with greese for the pump tubing without any instructions for applying it. Install tubing and then apply the greese to only the inside of the tubing (only where the rollers touch)! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I'm very happy with this dosing pump and float switch. It is sensitive to about a 1/8" variance in my sump. The only complaint is that the pump makes a clicking sound when turning on. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Ignore my previous review... this pump does suck and it all boils down to sub-par engineering. The pumps tubing constantly slips off of the rollers. Much better solutions out there. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
