Replacement Blades for Aqua Medic Scraper - 5 pack
The scraper is a multiple use blade cleaner. The 5.9" (15cm) wide blade makes it easy to remove even the most resistant calcerous algaes from the aquarium glass. The blades are manufactured from corrosion resistant hardened steel. The removable blade protector also acts as a squeegee for cleaning the outside of the aquarium glass. A unique feature of the scraper is the hinge which allows the blade head to be turned for 180°. This facility allows the user to still clean the aquarium even when the tank decoration - such as rocks or roots, comes very close to the glass.

Aquamedic blade RUSTS

Pretty disappointed that the blade rusted after only one use. I rinsed off and dried the unit before storing it away. Looks like you have to take the unit apart every time for the blade not to rust. I would pay the extra money for a better stainless steel grade part...

Best scraper 10 years of exp

I've used mag floats and a variety of other scrapers - hands down this if the best I've used - gets the job done quickly on my 6 long tank. Nothing else was cutting through the tough film algea that grows on my glass. This takes it off with no effort at all.
Only thing I don't like....Blades do rust - you have to remove blade and dry after use. Well worth the money.

Perfect - takes off the most stubborn algae and lasts a while. Just make sure you wash and dry them after each use.
