Comments: This is a great skimmer for the price. Ive used it as a hang on the back and in the sump with good results. This model is far better than the Stand alone. Easy to set up with little to no adujtment. The collection cup is large and requires less frequent cleaning than the Red Sea Berlin. Low price, sound construction and a simple design make this a great first time skimmer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased the turbofloater multi after buying and returning a seaclone. there is absolutely no comparison; the turbofloater is a dream compared to other skimmer's. I set it up plugged it in and about 8-10 hours later I was skimming with very little adjustment of the outflow controls. You truly do get what you pay for and even though this skimmer was a bit on the pricy end for my budget, it was totally worth it. Awesome product. Germany Engineering is in my house! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Have used many skimmers and I would recommend the Turboflotor series! The documentation is not the best, but this skimmer is meant for both new and experienced in the hobby. All skimmers require some time to adjust and tweak...These guys do deliver... Unique design...great pump...I added a valve to the Venturi to adjust to my needs...Don't think the Tap Valves are predictable and would not recommend playing with too much...Overflow is no fun! Works as promised.. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This skimmer takes a few days to break in, and you will get very wet foam that fills the cup within minutes the first time you start it up. Don't Panic! Just fill it up with tank water and let it sit a couple days. After the break-in of 48 hours, the skimmer started pulling brown, nasty gunk out of the water. It took only a bit of fiddling to get the foam to the perfect consistency. Less than a week later, and the skimmer is preforming like a champ, pulling about a cup of brown gunk out about every 24 hours. Works great! I'm using it as a hang on for my sump/refugium combo, with a 75 gallon display tank and a 45 gallon sump/fuge. Seems to be perfectly sized for the job. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This skimmer works great! It pulled out two full cups in the first hour I had it on on my 46 gallon bowfront which had gone a couple months without a protein skimmer or water change, then it settled down to filling the cup about once every two days. I didn't have to adjust anything relative to the foam production, just the physical arrangement of the skimmer itself. I had to move my 46 gallon bowfront aquarium a little farther out from the wall than I was expecting - the tube from the pump protrudes fairly far forward, which hits my glass cover, so I have the return cup extended all the way out, causing the skimmer to be hanging as far back from the aquarium as it can hang. The pump is also louder than my canister filter if I have it pushed against the side of the tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I recently purchased the Aqua Medic Turboflotor Hang on Protein Skimmer for use on my 90 gallon tank. I recieved it very quickly and I was protected in the box VERY well!! I hooked it up and like advertised it took about 24 hours to start producing good skimmate, But once it did the thing has been kicking but ever since. It runs great and with the large collection cup it only has to be emptied about once every other day. The only thing that I don't care for is, sometimes when it is producing foam it causes the cup lid to pop up and some of the foam comes out the holes in the lid or directly out of the cup onto the side of the cup. I just place a paper towel on top and it takes care of the problem. Great skimmer.... Buy one you'll be impressed like I am. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Extremely happy with skimmer. In the past I had a RedSea Berlin and after a couple years it worked poorly. I switched to a compressed RedSea Skimmer and it just didn't do the job either, barely producing any foam. I have a 90g FOWLR tank and 3 large fish so I need something that will take the excess gunk out of the water. The Turboflotor has been working hard since day 1 of installation. Got a bit of wet/water foam in the first few hours, now producing good thick foam. Plus I like how you can control water/bubble flow. On the RedSea Berlin I had to put my hand way down in the sump to increase/decrease bubbles. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have used the turboflotor for many years. I'am currently increasing my coral frag tank, so this particular protein skimmer was a no brainer. The product did come in damaged (crack in the intake tube) but marinedepot replaced it, no questions asked. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I don't have much experience with skimmers, but we could not get our nitrates down below 20 so we gave it a try. We have a 55 gal, w/ live rock, 6 fish, crabs, and snails, and 1 coral. Within a couple of days the nitrates were dropping like a rock. Very quiet and works great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is by far the best protein skimmer that I have ever used. I have 4 tanks and installed the Aqua Medic in one. The water is crystal clear!!!! I paid for overnight shipping and because of air conditions, I received it one day late. You refunded shipping..I didn't even ask. I just ordered another Aqua Medic. Also, recommend the Aqua UV Sterilizer! Another great investment!!!!!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
