API MelaFix treats bacterial infections and promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue. It will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolor your aquarium water or ornaments. Safe for use in freshwater, saltwater, reef aquariums, and with live plants. MelaFix has been formulated to work in combination with PimaFix to enhance effectiveness against fish diseases.

Directions for Use

  • Add 5 ml per 10 gallons of aquarium water. Dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change.
  • It is recommended to turn any skimmers down or off during treatment with MelaFix
  • It is also suggested to remove any activated carbon while treating with MelaFix

Is it safe for use with corals? I have a clown with fin rot and I can't seem to get it out of the dt

yes, API states this is safe for all reef tanks, planted tanks, fresh and saltwater fish.
