I have 2 complaints for this feeder 1) The timer doesn't let you set the time of day that it feeds only the interval between feedings. I do not know when it is going to feed and inevitably it feeds 1/2 hour after I just finished feeding frozen. 2) The day/night sensor is nice but i have a lamp near my tank that makes the feeder think that it is daytime even though the tank lights are out. This problem would be solved by having a clock timer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends. It is actually very simple to program and set up. I would have given it a five star rating it it could be programed for specific times instead of using intervals. I used the feeder for a mix of dried blood worms and shrimp while on vacation for ten days and all of the fish are still alive and healthy. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
