Comments: I have used the Reef Master kit for about a week now. I find it very straight forward to use and as all the tests require the same amount of water for each test, it is very used friendly. The color charts are easy to read and there is a lot less guess-work as to what the values are. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The quality is great, although the test tubes do break easily, so watch out if you are clumsy as I am. Also the phosphate test is a little bit hard to differentiate the colors in the low values (between 0 and 0.5). Otherwise, a great product I would definitely recommend. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: this is the first test kit I have used since getting into the hobby a little over a year ago. the instructions are easy to follow and readings are quite accurate. the only reason I did not give 5 stars is I wish there were more tests included instead of having to purchase more. so if you care about your water quality, use this test. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Nice starter kit by PIPER KEAIRNES

Comments: All in all, it's a decent kit at a great price. Some of the caps leak when shaking the tubes. The fill line wears off with normal use. Plan on buying a separate low-range Phosphate test kit. The KH and Nitrate tests are easy and seem to be accurate enough. The Calcium test works well, but the kit provides equal amounts of two reagents that are used in a 2:1 ratio when your Calcium levels are in the 400 range. So you can only test Calcium half as many times as the other tests. The Phosphate test is not good. It is a wide-range test, not a low-range test. It measures from 0 to 10 ppm, which works fine for detecting major problems (1.0 or above) but is useless when measuring below 0.5 ppm because the 3 shades of light green representing 0, 0.25 and 0.50 are practically impossible to tell apart. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am new to salt water aquariums, so when I asked my boyfriend (who has a 2400 gallon tank) what water tester I should get, he ordered this for me. It's so helpful to get nearly exact measurements of what's in my tank. I now feel confident that whatever livestock I put my Nano won't die right away! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The directions and information for a novice reef keeper was very easy to follow and understand. It helps to know what keeps my reef system healthy after such a significant investment. This test kit does the job. I highly recommend it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Performs all the test that you need to keep most corals happy. The instructions are clear and they give some good advice. Only negative really is the test tube stoppers that came with the kit, every one of them leaked when on the tubes. On several of the tests you have to add a drop of solution and shake the tube then add another drop. With them leaking constantly you start out with less in the tube than you started with. I am concerned that this may skew the test results. I ended up ordering new test tubes and stoppers. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Easy to use set that gives you the vital parameters on a reef tank. My only complaint would be that you have to squeeze the phosphate bottle pretty hard to get the solution out. The directions said the solution is thick, so that makes sense. Otherwise, its a great set....just wish I could drop those phosphates! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Simple, fast, reliable - what more could you ask for?! In just a few minutes, I know exactly where my nitrates, phosphates, carbonate hardness, and calcium levels are. I use this in conjunction with the Saltwater Master Test kit from API to stay on top of the parameters I am most concerned with in our 90-gallon reef tank. The kits are easy to use and last a *very* long time. By the way, Marine Depot is, by far, the most inexpensive source that I have found for these products. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This test kit contains the majority of essential test needed for the up-keep of a thriving reef tank. API also offers an ease of use un-matched in any of the other brands, at a price not un-usual to be half of the competion. Also a plus that you dont need a P.H.D in chemistry to perform.
