I don't get it!

I dont get it... Iv ordered these replacement bulbs multiple times for my AquaticLife Metal-Halide T5 fixture without issue! Then all of a sudden I started receiving bulbs that are 1/2 INCH LONGER then my existing bulbs. It may not seem much, but its enough to give me a VERY hard time installing the bulbs... They are nice tho.

Easeir on the eyes than a 420n

This lamp is Easier on the eyes than a 420nm only bulb my other T5 units hurt my eyes when only the Actinic 420nm's bulbs are on that I had to remove the legs and lower the light to a inch from the canopy, I don't know why? but these dual 420/460nm bulbs don't feel like their burning my retinas when looking at the tank the only thing I have noticed is a powdery algae growth since ramping up the lighting that was never a issue before my Phosphates are almost 0 so I guess I will have to wait it out and see what happens. I did cut the pre programed lighting cycle in 1/2 and I might start running a Vortex Diatom filter to catch the most of the algae spores for a while, but I did make a change from what the tank was used too

pretty good

Pretty good, the bulbs came with my fixture. 3 700+(10,000K) and 3 blue. The 10000K are a little greenish, though.
