Simple and easy

That's about it: simple (to hook up) and easy (to read [when needs to be changed again]). The RO Buddie overall isn't going to compare to a $400-$500 RO machine, but that's just it: get what You pay for. But I worked at a high quality fish store (saltwater = 70% of the store's market) last Summer/Fall where I first learned of this; then, when I moved out of my own and no longer had my Father's nice Maxxima RO machine from 12-13 years ago, I had to spend within my means, and this fit the bill. Ten months now, and it runs great!! :) Eighty-dollar machine + $40 DI cartridge is worth every penny. Kudos to AquaticLife!

No need to buy this filter again after the DI resin is used up they sell bags of resin that you can refill the filter with. I got mine from the company that makes the unit for the same price and they said it would be enough to refill the filter 4 or 5 times. It was a bit of a pain to take apart but your saving money so worth the effort. This store sells bags of resin as well. This was the hardest filter to change out of all 4 and even this one wasn't that bad. Over all good RO/DI unit and well worth the money.
