I don't know what this person is talking about that wrote the other review. I hooked this RO/DI filter up right out of the box with no leaks or problems. I'm running 75PSI through it and have no issues. I just changed my prefilters after 6 months of use. It was easy to do and I still have no leaks or issues. This filter was well worth the money. The cost is lower then a 5 or 7 stage unit and I like the fact that it's not that big. Fits under the sink nice. If your not looking to spend a ton of money on an RO/DI filter but yet have something that works well then this unit is for you. Very easy to set up.

I really wanted to like the RO Buddie System, but it's just poor. The initial setup of the system required tightening of all connections to prevent leaks. Even then, the occasional drip occurred as a result of poor quality quick connectors.
This replacement cartridge follows in those footsteps. You need a LOT of Thread Seal Tape to prevent leaks. The plastic is also so soft that you can't tighten the top nut enough to make a good seal with the tiny O-Ring without stripping the plastic thread.
I hoped that a cheap product from a good company would still be a good product. Unfortunately, it's just cheap.
I'm going to be purchasing a new RO/DI system as a result.
