Comments: These lights are outstanding. The timer is great and i like that there is only one power cord. They really made my tank look better and my coral are loving the new light. The moon led however is really bright and i had to put some tape over them to make them less bright. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Received the 48" unit yesterday. VERY well packaged, the unit was in perfect condition. It looks great, is very bright, and I love that it has one plug and independent control of the lighting. The fans are REALLY quiet. I would order this again in a heartbeat. It's a solid light for a good price, a very solid middle of the road system. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I recieved this light about a week ago and was very impressed with the features and the quality of the product. My other light had the ballast go out and it was about $150 to replace it, so I actually bought this as a backup. After installing the light, I don't think I will go back to my old fixture and seperate ballast with all the cords and seperate timers. This one has it all including great lighting for all my corals and inverts. They really came alive with this light. I love the built in timmer and it is very easy to program. The only complaint I have, and it is one I can live with is the lighting is a little bluer than I like, but I think I can change out one of the bulbs and mod it to my liking with no problem. This is simply a great light that I would recommend to anyone who has a reef tank and wants something that is easy to maintain and is built well above expectations. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I got this fixture in a week ago to replace a coralife aqualight pro 24". The fixture was packed beautifully. Very little chance of damage. Very easy to hook up and use. Intuitive set up for the lighting control and I think the light is brighter then my aqualight. I am sure that the Halide on the Coralife would probably be better for coral growth, but I am shifting away from SPS on this tank so I think this light will be a great fit! I will probably order another for my other 24" tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I own the 24 inch lights that I had bought second hand. I am new to this hobby, so I do not have an opinion on whether the lights are good for corals and such. I do not know if they are the reason my coraline algae would appear on my tank walls and then die. Anyway, I do like the timing feature on them. It is one less thing I have to worry about. I liked the lights enough that I purchased the 36" lights the current tank I am building. These lights came with out two screws used to secure the end bracket that keeps the glass in place, this did not seem to be a big deal until recently. I had to moved the lights and the glass slid out and hit the floor, cracking the glass. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Just one word "Brilliant". I did a lot of research about witch kind of light to buy (HQ,T5,PC) to put over my 29 gal nano. Believe me, I went to 4 different local stores and many online sites looking for some advice. Some people told me to get HQ and some told me to get T5s. I decided to go with T5s for many reasons but 2 of the biggest one was the heat and with the T5 I have more color options. Then the last question was "Which brand". There are many T5 HO brands but the only one that was going to give me LED's, Timer, one cord, 156W and a really great price was this one. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is going over my latest reef tank. I cant't speak on coral looks or growth yet but as far as the product goes I'm impressed. After having many different lighting fixtures over the years I think this one is the best so far. It is very well made and simple to use. The timer is super easy to set up and it's nice that there is only one cord. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I would reccomend this product to my friends in a second. The Timer is easy to use and works great. The T5 bulbs it comes with look great without having to change them and the corals look amazing under the lunar 's. Not necessarily a pain to set up thebrackets its very simple. just have to follow the directions an adjust the brackets to fit your tank. not hard at all. all in all i give it a 5 out of 5. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I received this light yesterday to replace similiar Marineland T5 HO lights that got very hot and were noisy. This AquaticLife light strip is wonderful and priced very well considering all the options it comes with I put this inside my canopy and did not have any heat issues. The slim dimensions of the light allows for great airflow inside of a canopy. The fans do a great job of cooling the lights and with very little noise. The ability to program the lights is a plus and very easy to use. The placement of the menu board is great and easy to read. The combination of the 420/460 nm and 700 +nm bulbs create a nice amount of light, while keeping the tank well lit. I love having only 1 power cord and not having to have a separate timer plugged into the wall to turn the light strip on and off. This is by far the best light strip I've used and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, affordable, great quality light strip for their tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great LIGHT! My 75 gal looks amazing since putting this light on. Packaging was very nice as well. If your looking for a light get this one. The built in timer is well worth it only having one cord. I would only think a better light would be the Aquatic Life HID lite. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've only had the light for 2 days, but as soon as it arrived I was thrilled. 48" size for my 55 gal tank. Nicely packed, however it came with older, incorrect instructions on how to unpack. I figured it out (although now I've learned you can go to their website for new instructions) and set it up quickly. Legs were very easy to install - just loosen the screw on the leg brackets the correct amount and they slide right on. Tighten once they are in place. Before I had a Nova Extreme which required THREE plugs, one for the fans, one for the blue lights and one for the white lights all which had to be plugged in to their own timers. Plus the NE fans were loud. ONE PLUG is an exceptional benefit. The fans were so quiet on my new light that I didn't realize they were on! The tank looks great and the moonlights are really, really nice. They give a beautiful shimmer and many of my corals really glow. I would recommend this light fixture to anyone. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a very nice middle range product. I ordered the 36" fixture. First the packaging is very secure (would be hard for UPS to damage). The finish and overall look of the fixture is quality. Built in fan, individual lamp reflectors, and timer are features not found at this price point. Only one plug is a big plus. The lamps have good color, white blue, when all 4 are running. The mounting legs are stable and easy to install. I dont have a PAR meter so can't comment on that. But really all the higher end units require you to buy lamps. Let face it people get a bit nuts about lamps anyway, so if you are an SPS freak you will end up with a dozen different lamps anyway. The only downside is my fixture shipped with an older user guide. The older user guide indicated the need for an included Allen Wrench and removal of 2 screws (which I could not find). Emailed Marine depot, they pointed me to the new userguide on AquaticLife's web site. These items are no longer used, or included. At the time of purchase, this was the best value in T5 fixtures I found. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I got this light today and I had no problem with the set up and my coral perked up as soon as I turned it on. Programming the light timer was really easy and really convenient. Another plus was that there is only one plug to work with so it cuts back on the cludder of wires down the back of your tank. Bottom line is I would recommend this product to any of my friends, family, co worker, or who ever really. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This light is great. The timer function is great. The LEDs are nice at night. The lights work great in my 7ft 125g tank. The only problem is the light bulbs that it includes are for salt water tanks. I suggest aquaflora and mid-days if you plan on using this for freshwater planted tank. Comments: I bought the 48 inch T5 HO 420/460 700+ with 4 lunar lights for my 55 gallon saltwater fish only tank. I love the light, it makes my tank look better. I love having a timer on the light, I don't need to worry about having to turn the light on and off when I'm not home. The lights are very bright sometimes hurts the eyes. The only problem I had, is that I was using the legs and it fits exactly the width of the tank. I can't even open the glass on the top. Every time I had to feed my fishes I take the lights off so I can open the cover then put back the light. So I ordered the light suspension Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I love the especially because it has it own build in timer And how clean it looks and the design of it.I also like the placement where to mount the legs on the bottom instead of on the sides.I was also wondering if I can install extra fans on this light or is there a light kit for it and last the bracket that holds the light lens in did not have any screws in it so could you please send me the two screws that suppose to come with it.every time I move the light the lens slides out.thank you all in all it's a awesome light my family and friends love the light it gives out and the allumination Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased is a 72 inch fixture.I had 15' of VHO light in my 125 gallon tank. Needless to say it was hot and about 600 watts of power. This light gives off almost the same light for half the power and heat. The timers are GREAT!!! This is a great value!!!Lunar lights are bright. If you want more daylight replace 2 of the actinic with daylight or daylight / actinic mixture.I am very pleased so far the month I have had this fixture! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: These lights have been working flawlessly for two weeks now. The embedded program is great, and the ability to modify that at any time is appreciated. Documentation is good and the you tube video is nice too. My corals have perked up almost immediately. Build quality is superior to the CUSA orbit extreme that I had previously. The moon lights work great, are considerably brighter than the previous unit. I would lik to see Aquatic Life make the legs easier to slide in to the track with the use of some teflon material on the foot of the support leg, but this is NOT a critical flaw. AqL shoul make a 6 & 8 tube T5 next! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Looked over many light fixtures but always came back to this one. What really got me was the one plug and built in timer. Then I seen the Led's and I was sold. Such ease of use, all in one. People have mentioned the 700+ being too bright, but I don't think so and my tank looks great. My 420/460 lamps were not coming on at set-up, so I called the toll free number and spoke to Dave. :-) Problem solved. Make sure all lamps are fitted in place properly! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great product, however did not come with instructions and the legs for the unit. They do come included, however were missing from the order. Only con is there is not fan and the unit gets extremely warm therefore increasing the temperature of my tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i bought this light after doing a lot of research about what would be the right solution for my needs. i went from knowing next to nothing about the different options (T5/HO, Metal Halide, Compact Flourescent, LED) and kept coming back to the AquaticLife lights as they are very reasonably priced and provide an all in one solution for lighting with a built in timer. Two things finalized my decision--first the other great reviews from happy users here. The second equally important factor was the fact that I contacted Aqualife and asked about which lighting would be best for me and the owner of the company immediately (same day response) sent me an email with helpful information. He suggested that I get the T5 HO model (48") for my needs as the Metal Halide model runs really hot and would require also purchasing a chiller and higher electric bill. Oh! And also I have to admit the the kicker were the great youtube videos the owner has showing how the light's timers work. I get the feeling that the owner cares a lot about his company and customers, big and small and being a business owner myself I could see that he is running a tight ship. All of this with the price made buying this light a no brainer for me. It's bright, sexy on top of the tank. If anything I think I may swap out one of the blue actinics for a different tube as it's a bit too blue overall for my tastes but that's neither here nor there. get one! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I first saw this fixture at a LFS when I was looking for something to replace my CF fixture with 2 bad ballasts. The LFS had it set up over one of the frag tanks, and it caught my eye because I could see the timer was built in and there was only one plug...and the stuff in the tank looked great. They didn't have the unit in stock, and wanted $500 to order it for me (so much for "we give a 30% discount for all special orders"!), so I was glad to find it here at Marine Depot! The unit arrived the day after I ordered it, and was up and running within minutes. Instructions in manual were great, all made sense. I had a couple of minor issues, most likely the unit was dropped on the end during transit, so I called the toll free number in the included documentation, and a real person (Dave) answered the phone! Not only did he answer the phone, but he listened to my concerns and I had a replacement fixture in my hands the next day! They were more than fair in the way they handled my issues. New fixture is awesome, all life in the tank seems to enjoy it and all look great under the different lights. The built-in 24 hour timer with different lamp settings is really great...only one cord to plug into the wall, and no need to mess with different aftermarket timers for each set of lamps like on all my old fixtures. The T5 lighting is cool (also, it's not hot!) and the fixture sits nice and low on the tank, so I'm not blinded when I sit across the room from it like the other fixtures. It doesn't feel like light is "leaking" all over the room. Would definitely buy other products from AquaticLife! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
