Comments: Compared to "simlar" produts a great performer. Pore size in carbon 50 - 200 micron. Perfect for VOC absorbtion and entrapment at < 1/2 the cost. Don't be fooled by fancy labels and marketing of other products. After 2 weeks my 240 gal reef tank hand NOTICABLY healthier livestock(s) - especially the softs. Charcoal should be a regular part of the filtration strategy for reef tanks - but it does not have to be as costly. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Unsatisfactory

Comments: Does leach phospate, rinsing reduces this but it will continue to leach as long as you run it. Thank goodness I can use this in the air outlet of my skimmer collection cup to reduce odors, all it is good for is air filtration. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The water in my 125 gal fish only tank was starting to get yellow. I knew it was time to replace the carbon. I was out of what I normally use so I bought this product. I filled my sea clear (nu clear) with this carbon. It ran for almost two weeks without a change. I finally replaced the carbon with clear for life - triple activated carbon, and within a day, my tank was sparkling clear! I would stay away from this product. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: THE WORST CARBON I HAVE EVER TRIED,THE BLACK DUST WAS AT LEAST 1/4 OF THE BAG,TOOK 2 MINUTES OF WASHING TO GET THE BLACK WATER LOW ENOGH TO PUT INTO TANK,GARBAGE,DO NOT BUY I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Reasonable price for a carbon in pellet form.My carbon is rotated out in 1/3's every week. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I normaly use ESV's products.so far It works just as good. cabon is carbon now matter how you slice it,so if yore looking to save a buck,blue life carbon is as good as any!!!!!!!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
