Comments: I was very disappointed. I followed the instructions precisely. The red slime disappeared for a few days, but came back, even after a second treatment. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I used this product according to the directions and it killed my very large SPS I've had for 5 years. It kills the red slime but it is very misleading about affecting coral with no harm. No one should use this product with SPS coral!!! I had to do many many water changes to get the tank right again. LPS and Soft coral recovered but looked terrible for a week. Fish were OK. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I used this product in my 220 litre salt tank that had thick red slime covering the live rock & coral sand. Within 2 days the slime was starting to disappear & after about 5 days it was gone. Never lost any fish or corals. A good, easy product to use. I would recommend it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had my saltwater tank 25 years and never seen red slim in it. With my luck, red slime came took over.I am on a fixed income, so I have to spend my money wisely. I wasted my time, and money and killed my year and a half old bubble anemone and used up the rest of my salt trying to make things right.Now it has mad things weirs!!! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I read the label- it said it was HARMLESS, no caveats, no warnings- just harmless. Well it isn't harmless, My red slime was gone alright but so were about $1500 worth [ half my tank] of corals. I am an experienced reef hobbyist with over 50 years behind me in salt aquariums. This particular 180- has been up and running successfully for 12 years. My ORP went up substantially after use. It is dangerous and notwithstanding some happy as well as unhappy customers, I can not recommend it. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My LFS recommended this product. I added it to my 150 gallon FOWLR tank on a Friday night. By Sunday the slime was really starting to die off. Monday night most of the slime was dead, the fish looked good and were eating. When I got home on Tuesday, I had 9 dead fish in my tank, with one little clown fish handing in there. I moved him to a QT and he is doing fine. All the parameters I had tests for were good. My LFS gal thinks the fish suffocated. Now nobody wants to take responsibly for my 9 fish. Was this my fault? Hey this stuff works; it kills red slime, and fish. My shrimp and snails seem unaffected. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I had poor results with this product. I never lost anything in the tank, but the red algae was not gone either. The red slime remover worked like a champ, so I would recommend that brand hands down. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I had been trying phosban, I use my own pretty new and properly operating (tested) RODI water, I had cut my lights back, I had cut my feeding back, I had been using a turkey baster and frequent water changes, and none of my critters were dead and I still had red algae. Within 3 days you could not find any more red algae. I love this product. Once dose after buying this almost 6 weeks ago and I have not had to add any more. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is the best chemical I have ever used in my reef aquarium. It did exactly what it said it would do - all I did was follow the directions - turn off my skimmer, remove the charcoal - and 24 hours later ALL of the red slime was gone! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The product worked great!! It did not deplete my system of oxygen. One day cyano was there, the next morning, GONE! all of it. And it has not come back. My zoas (this is a softy tank) did not open the next morning, but were back to their usual self after two days. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product is a great waste of money. This product swaers it works simply with a 1 level spoonful per 10 gal mixing instructions and repeat after a 25% water change if no results in 5-7 days. I used this all up with no results other than killing 2 innocent lettuce nudibranchs. Everything else in my reef tank was ok. To get rid of slime algae, attach a plastic fork to a long stick and peel off the pudding sludge from the rocks and gravel. Siphon out as much as possible from sand and rock and coral surface and do a 25% water change. Repeat this about 5 times over a period of 6 weeks and the problem will go away. Be patient and dedicated, you will overcome the slime. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: In 6 years, this was my first battle with Red Slime. I was shocked at the performance of this product, within 24 hours 95% was gone. By 72 hours, it was all gone. I guarantee the individual that claims he lost fish didn't properly follow directions properly Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: WOW! Blue Life Red Slime Control is a great product. Doesn't look like much but packs one heck of a punch to the red slime and doesn't harm anything else. After doseing my 10g tank as directed I could see a change within 48hrs. The red slime started to turn green and then disolve. My entire tank, rock and some coral had been taken over by the slime. Five days later.... NO red slime left in the tank and no negative effects to my fish, coral or any other life in the tank! Definately a product that I would recommend to my friends. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I was afraid to turn off my chemical filtration by removing the activated carbon, but the red slime control STILL WORKED. I had a horrible case of red slime that was EVERYWHERE. After 5 days of the first treament, it's gone. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've had trouble with red slime for about a year. Constantly fighting it even after a phos filter/buster was done. 1 dose of Blue Life Slime Control and the stuff disappeared. None of the tank life was affected either. Thanks! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Well after reading the pevious 9 reviews I thought I'd give this product I try. What a nightmare !!! 6 Dead fish, A star fish and I'm waiting to see if my corals will be ok. This after 1 day. Yes this product gets rid of red slime and everything else !!! I can NOT express how angry and stupid I feel right now. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT OR YOU WILL LEARN THE HARD WAY, LIKE I DID ! 0 TO 10 THIS PRODUCT GETS A 0.0 I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I tried this for the first time and it killed all my encrusted corals, they became white and started spitting out a lot of stuff had to get rid of them I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I sucked up most red slime before i used this product, I dilluted and used the proper amount. after about 20 min the mushrooms(coral) i have in the tank shriveled up into itself. By the morning i noticed almost all red slime was gone. Still waiting to see if all will be gone. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Went on vacation and left an automatic feeder to keep the fish happy. The automatic feeder overfed, and the cyanobacteria were in bloom. I tried multiple water changes, etc. to get rid of the slime, but it kept coming back. I hate to medicate, but I finally gave in and bought this product. I did another water change to siphon the red gunk out and then did the treatment. Red slime was gone after 48-72 hours, and it hasn't come back after 1 week. Fish, corals and critters are all happy. I removed my charcoal and turned off the protein skimmer during treatment. Still no charcoal, but my skimmer went back on yesterday -- tons of light foam, so watch your skimmer when you put it back on. Great product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
