Comments: I have a 120 gal reef tank. If you have problems getting the ph just right when mixing water, NeoMarine salt mix is for you. It is simply the best mix I’ve ever used; mixes super clear to 1.025 g/cm3, gets your PH were it needs to be quickly, and economical in that it takes less NeoMarine mix to do so as compared to other popular mixes. One slight inconvenience though, getting the lid off the 150 gal mix container takes some effort. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After diving into the saltwater aquarium hobby 4 years ago I've made several changes in salt mixes. First I was using Catalina water(local saltwater collected in Cali), then Instant Ocean, then Oceanic, then Red Sea, then Tropic Marin, then Tropic Marin Pro Reef, and now NeoMarine. Fortunately I feel that each move was a step up from the previous saltwater or salt mixes. Unfortunately it took me about 3 years to finally figure out that my salt solutions were inadequate (Guess I'm a slow learner). I seemed to have trouble keeping my Mg levels up with other mixes (including the worshipped Tropic Marin Pro Reef) while still dosing with Mg. Every time I did a water change my Mg seemed to drop. Ever since I've switched to NeoMarine I haven't had a problem. The label says if mixed properly you should have a 1250ppm level of Mg(I think), I always measure mine before I add it to my tank and it reads 1200ppm....not bad! This stuff is pretty potent and I would always recommend using caution while handling any salt mixes! After all, the dose is the poison. And most salt mixes are HIGHLY concentrated. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This "salt", or whatever it is, will cause chemical burns! I am used to Instant Ocean salt mix, which seems to be normal salt. This stuff has more of a powdered laundry detergent consistancy. As my girlfriend helped me pour it into a couple 5-gal buckets, we got a little on our hands and it REALLY BURNS, almost immediately. Like, you could probably melt a guy by dumping a bucket of this on him. There is nothing on the label warning of this. This is some potent stuff. It does make some primo saltwater tho, probably with a Ph of 13.5. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Salt mixes all claim to be the best and closest to natural. When we find a salt we like, whether it be for the price, availability, packaging or successful marketing by the manufacturer the idea of trying something else can be a hard sell. I switched from D-DH2ocean and I'm satisfied with my choice. My tank looks just as good now as it did with the D-D. Water is testing within an acceptable range (no salt is perfect) of what is considered normal. NeoMarine mixes fast, and dissolves completely. Also, seems to take a little less salt to mix the same amount of water to the desired salinity as with my previous salt. The NeoMarine Salt is still new to me but it looks like it's gonna be a winner. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
