CPR Aquatic's AeroForce2 is an innovative hang-on-the-back protein skimmer designed to filter your saltwater aquarium of its excess dissolved organic carbons. These organic carbons can contribute to unsafe water conditions for your fish and coral if left untreated.

The AeroForce2 utilizes some of CPR's revolutionary hang-on designs from its BakPak series while also adding several features to enhance the AeroForce's overall effectiveness. A few of these features include a recirculating design with a dual pump system, removable inner body and a de-gassing water outlet. The dedicated feed pump allows users to select the appropriate amount of water to feed through the skimmer while the separate air pump produces a consistent amount of air, ensuring maximum waste collection.

The AeroForce2 also operates extremely quietly and is energy efficient, consuming only 8.5W total. The small internal "footprint" makes the skimmer easy to install in small and narrow spaces, and dramatically reduces the amount of equipment showing in the display. Additionally, the removable inner body makes it simple to perform maintenance on the skimmer body and its pumps.

Designed for reef marine systems.

In Arcata, located in Northern California, the sea is a way of life. From the advanced Marine Biology department at Humboldt State University, just up the hill from CPR’s headquarters, to Humboldt Bay, about a mile west, CPR is nestled in a perfect environment to develop equipment for marine aquariums. CPR was started in a small garage in 1987 to produce biological filters for local aquarists. People who used CPR filters were impressed by the high quality and affordable prices. Word spread and the company grew. Since then, CPR has expanded to a 10,000 sq. ft. production facility and has developed many innovative products over the years. CPR is incorporating new ideas and technologies all the time. Their goal is to allow aquarists to place the highest performing products in their tanks at reasonable prices.

Easy to setup but......

The skimmer works perfect. Easy to setup but it sounds a little noisy and that's why it's rated 4.5 stars.

Does what it says.

Got this after alot of reserch I did not want to spend more than 200 I only have a 20 gallon lps. After a couple days and some adjustments (turned intake pump way down and stuffed toilet paper in the air intake)it started to pull out some nice skimmate and was alot more quiet. All skimmers are going to make a little noise this one is one of the quietest ones I have heard thats a HOB . Bottom line is that I am satisfied fully with this skimmer.
