CPR Aquatic's AeroFuge combines the benefits of the popular AeroForce protein skimmer and AquaFuge refugium in one easy to set up unit. The AeroFuge is a complete filtration system utilizing an efficient recirculating skimmer as the primary device to remove harmful dissolved organics. The refugium will supplement denitrification and nutrient export to help maintain a clean and well balanced system. The refugium will also help feed the aquarium with a more diverse population of live food while also stabilizing pH.

CPR Aquatic Aquarium Supplies
In Arcata, located in Northern California, the sea is a way of life. From the advanced Marine Biology department at Humboldt State University, just up the hill from CPR’s headquarters, to Humboldt Bay, about a mile west, CPR is nestled in a perfect environment to develop equipment for marine aquariums. CPR was started in a small garage in 1987 to produce biological filters for local aquarists. People who used CPR filters were impressed by the high quality and affordable prices. Word spread and the company grew. Since then, CPR has expanded to a 10,000 sq. ft. production facility and has developed many innovative products over the years. CPR is incorporating new ideas and technologies all the time. Their goal is to allow aquarists to place the highest performing products in their tanks at reasonable prices.

Comments: I have been running on a 25 gallon for six months now as the primary means of filtration- it works, and looks beautifully. The stock florescent fixture is bulky so I swapped out for a 12.5" stunner strip that fits perfectly out of sight, and keeps the cheato popping. The skimmer skims very well. I ended up using acrylic box for homemade overflow to help with surface skimming Overall, no complaints. Hand made.

Comments: Took less than an hour to setup! Skimmer was pulling lots of undissolved organics within 24 hours. Filled refugium area with 1.5 inches of miracle mud, live rock, and chaetomorpha, and a bag of chemipure. The only thing I wish was if the light didn't get so hot.

Comments: Its nice to buy a product that does everything it claims. within 2 hours of use the protien skimmer cup was half full of gunk that my other filters obviously did not remove. Very well made and attractive refuge skimmer combo.Quiet operation and moves a decent amount of water, also slim size makes it nice if you have little tank to wall clearance. Will buy again for future tanks.

Comments: I HAD IT FOR ONE WEEK TODAY THE COLLECTION CUP IS 60% FULL I AM NEW TO THIS HOBBY I THINK ITS WORKING GREAT I ADDED SOME LIVE SAND AND RUBBLE WITH A BALL SIZE OF CHAETOMORPHA
