The RSS Overflow is a simple way to add a surface skimmer to any tank with a bulkhead mounted overflow. Users can choose between the regular unit or the DX model depending on the installation method they desire. Regular units have an open back so that the walls of the RSS overflow can be silicon-mounted right up to the back wall of the aquarium. Alternatively, to install without silicon, users can drill an additional bulkhead hole into the back wall of the DX model to match the size of the overflow bulkhead. The bulkhead can then be used with additional washers for a more simple, and easily removable installation.

Features and Benefits

  • Reduces amount of surface proteins
  • Increases oxygen exchange of the aquarium water
  • Improves the effectiveness of the filtration system
  • CNC routed grates for clean appearance
  • Easily installs onto the back walls of aquariums with a dilled overflow
  • Fully routed grates are closed off on top for increased grate support
  • Available with open back for installation with silicon (Regular unit)
  • Available with closed back for installation with bulkhead (DX unit)
  • *** Users are required to drill an additional bulkhead hole into the DX model`s back wall for installation with bulkhead
  • ***If drilled an additional bulkhead gasket will be needed
  • Dimensions: 6.38" x 2.63" x 3.63"
  • For Nano Aquariums

CPR Aquatic Aquarium Supplies
In Arcata, located in Northern California, the sea is a way of life. From the advanced Marine Biology department at Humboldt State University, just up the hill from CPR’s headquarters, to Humboldt Bay, about a mile west, CPR is nestled in a perfect environment to develop equipment for marine aquariums. CPR was started in a small garage in 1987 to produce biological filters for local aquarists. People who used CPR filters were impressed by the high quality and affordable prices. Word spread and the company grew. Since then, CPR has expanded to a 10,000 sq. ft. production facility and has developed many innovative products over the years. CPR is incorporating new ideas and technologies all the time. Their goal is to allow aquarists to place the highest performing products in their tanks at reasonable prices.
