Comments: I wanted to take an experiment to see if this was really that successful. I started using the product and was seeing considerable coralline algae growth but I stopped to see if it was the natural algea growth or if it was the Purple-Up that was doing the growth acceleration. Once I stopped, there was absolutely minimal growth of the coralline algae until I used the product again and coralline algae seemed to bloom tremendously. It promotes the growth of all different shades of coralline and now my tank has a great variety of coralline algae shades. Also, it was ok to use with pre-existing corals and livestock. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: have used this stuff for over a months now and have had no significant increase in coralline. don't waste your money... I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have not used this till recently. I had 4 bottles just sitting around. My tank has a calcium reactor, which I have a suspicion is not perfect now. Since a few weeks ago I came home to find most of my corals tanking and even the hardy cabbage was wilting. I tested calcium and it wasn't doing well. I needed to bring up the levels, so instead of playing around I was busy running my business, so I made a decision. I used purple up a bit at a time probably more than I should have, but wow soon after about 1 day things looked better, but I yold myself don't kid yourself it just can't be that. I added some more, and then more the next day. I started seeing purple Coraline algae growing in my tank and my corals are all open again ad doing really really well. My system is a closed system and I control all the Nitrates with a sulfur reactor I built and since I have never worried about nitrates if the go out of control I turn it on higher and wallah within a day a total of 0.1 ppm almost negligible. For Phosphates same thing rowaphos reactor and bingo bango bongo no phosphates. So when this happened I know things are in check just couldn't believe how well it worked to balance the rest quickly. Buy it and relax. Wish they had it in 5 gallon jugs for a drip system. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My Coralline is looking better than ever. Only dosing for 3 weeks and the results are great. Says may take a month and a half for the coralline to get a good base and really start spreading. I look forward to that! Definitely a must if you want bright red coralline Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product works awesome. If you're starting up a tank, wait until you first see the coralline algae grow on its own. It took my tank about 3 months before it started showing up. Once you have some, buy/order this product and start dosing your tank. Test your calcium regularly. Once you start it, the coralline algae boosts up nicely! I love it! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This stuff works wonders with growing purple coral-line. Noticed a huge difference in my rocks within a week. Does cloud the water and with my Ehiem 2028 in filtering 125g it clears in about 45min. I'd highly recommend this stuff for coral-line! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I incorporate it into my sea chem routine. So 1 cap reef complete, 1 cap reef calcium,1 cap reef plus, 1 cap purple up per gallon required 2X week. My calc reactor is set at 40/10 B/D Per Min. however I have found that this supplement routine works best for all my tanks. I do recommend this product in conjunction with the others i have mentioned.If you do not have a calc reactor make sure you add buffer with ph stabilizer to keep your dkh at 8/11 and ph 8.3 and test your phos levels. Your tank will look better and coral will grow faster. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have used this/as perscribed. for one month,,I have 200#s live rock. this is already doubled my purple/pink/red.cal.algea. i know it will do a lot better. very impressed. works faster{in my case} than it says. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: If you use this every day you will have a purple explosion in your tank. I love the stuff and the only thing that I have found is that it could use somemore Iodine. I do that once a day with an eyedropper. This gives me the Dark purple that I want. I would go with it. Supper easy and great results. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have read many blogs from people affraid to use such a product but let me tell you if you want to promote Coralline evenly across your rock this will do it. I did not notice any adverse reactions. One piece of advice shake really really well. The other cool thing is you can take a look at your water flow when you add this product. Comments: After curing my rocks, I already had good coralline algae. Quality rock always pays for itself in the long run. My calcium etc... and a few other elements were low though. Purple up immediately raised those levels up. I was stunned it worked so fast. So if you need this for the coralline, fine. You also have the bonus of raising your levels at the same time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: For literally 3 years I've struggled to get tiny bits of coralline. I was using 3 different products to no avail. I'm on my third bottle of PurpleUp within the past year and the coralline is off charts with no ill effects to my corals. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this for my aquarium at first, although it works it is basicly liquid sand, something for a FOWLR system (for coraline to grow) but its best to just keep alk/calc/mag in check. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
