Chem-Marin`s Stop Aiptasia helps you control one of the biggest pests in the aquarium; Aiptasia. Simply inject the Stop Aiptaia (with the applicator syringe) and watch it do its job. The Aiptaisia should turn dark in color and fall off the rock within 12 to 24 hours. They may then be removed from the tank. The Stop Aiptasia is totally reef safe and will not harm any corals, fish or invertebrates. It may also be used in conjunction with any medication that may be present in your system. Stop Aiprasia should be shaken well before use and kept refrigerated. This product is 100% organic and biodegradable. 6 oz.
Manufacturer Info
Chem-Marin Aquarium Supplies
Chem-Marin was founded in 1995 in St. Pittston, PA. They were the first company to develop pepper-based products to maintain the health of freshwater, saltwater, marine reef and invertebrate tanks. They produce highly specialized additives and medications for the aquarium environment. Many companies have tried to copy Chem-Marin’s innovative formulas with little success. The Chem-Marin product line includes Stop Parasite, Fresh Water Parasite, Stop Aiptasia and Stop Hair Algae. They also produce inexpensive and easy-to-use applicators to administer their medications within the aquarium environment.

the bigger ones would just blow it out and be back even after 3 or 4 doses but I will say it does work... you just need to get them before they get any bigger than a quarter. the thing I found that works for me is getting a football inflater stem ( these are metal and can be bought most anywhere to inflate balls ) and attaching it to a doser that can be bought at any most any store as well generally they come in Tsp. sizes ( 2 tsp) and screwing the inflater to the doser and pushing it into the aiptasia them selves ( well best you can into their mouth )

I have used Chem-Marin Stop Aptasia many times in the past and it seems to work okay for a few anemones. However, in my Nano I had over 100 aptasia and nailed these guys with this product about a dozen times and it seamed like they developed a tolerance to the product. Some died, but those that survived reproduced like mad. I just tried some of Joe's Juice and 95% were dead after one dose! I zapped the survivors and those I missed tonight and viola, no more aptasia. I only used about 6cc of Joe's Juice vs. about 20+ cc of Chem-Marin per treatment. I have not tried the other brands, but why should I. Joe's Juice worked great on my huge problem and it costs teh least.

I keep 9 aquaria to run test in. In my Green Mandarinfish work #4 was infected by Aiptasia. I tried using this Chem-Marin product instead of Berghia verrucicornis and had to shut down and dry out #4 with all the live rock that was in it.
Though #4 is only a 29 gallons aquarium it was the Amphepod production unit and the whole population was lost. Two mated pairs and an adult male of the Mandarins starved after which 3 mated pairs had to be sold.
The use of this product was not only a waste of money and time but also the destruction of my entire effort. Products of this quality are why so many people quit our hobby in a year or two.

Seems like you REALLY need to get the anemones to take in a lot of this stuff PLUS more than one treatment in order for them to die. Coating the aiptasia seemed to help BUT some of them seemed to come back even after a few treatments. I would recommend for the beginning of an aiptasia breakout and not for when your tank is covered in them.

You may get more product using this particular aiptasia eliminator, but more is not better.
Does not work at all as directed.
Going back to the other 'juice' that does work.

I bombarded by aiptasia with this stuff, waited over a day, but they are still there - disappointing. I had success with Joe's Juice but I bought this to see if it would work better - it didn't.

I tried this product and it's worthless. Aiptasia's came back the next day, and I had more than ever after each try.
