3" multicomp mc19700 by ANTHONY CALAYAG
Experience Level: Expert
Posted on 6/16/2009 from GLENDALE, CA UNITED STATES
Comments: I ordered 3 and was wondering why the weak airflow. I received the lowest rated and cheapest multicomp fan. Only rated at 30cfm, 35db.The best AC 115v 3" fan out there is the multicomp mc21680 (41cfm, 32db). You can get it for $21
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Performs as expected, however. by RAPHAEL TRICE

Comments: Fan performs as expected. Set-up was a challenge since power cord was not connected to the fan and there were no instructions included for which wires should be connected and the connectors were to big for the wires. I had to use my own connectors. Other than that the fan cools and is not very loud.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Awesome Fan by AL TONGUIS
Experience Level: Expert
Posted on 5/19/2009 from BATON ROUGE, LA UNITED STATES
Comments: Well made fan, thick and heavy duty, the housing is made of metal not plastic! This fan moves a lot of air! And the best thing of all about this fan is that it is so QUIET I cannot hear it running! The fan is thick so I had to mount it on the outside of my hood and cut a hole so the air can blow across the bulbs. I just replaced the stove bolts it came with and used 3 inch wood screws to attach it to the hood, it also comes with a foam filter that snaps onto the fan to filter the air.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

cooling fan kit by ERNEST BELL
Experience Level: Expert
Posted on 3/29/2009 from LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA UNITED STATE
Comments: When I installed my PC lighting kits I did not think about the heat. MY Tank went from 78 to 85 in 30 min. Granted I had installed 650 Watts in a 20" deep 100g tank. Needless to say my temp went wild. My tank is 4" away from the back wall, so I installed two of these 4" fans blowing in and the back wall was the outlet. It was amazing. The temp up above went down to 100 deg ( if I did not say before it was up to 160 deg) The temp in my tank was perfect. yes i would recommend these to my friends

4" Cooling Fan by LEE CALABRIA
Experience Level: Intermediate
Posted on 1/29/2009 from MOLINE, IL UNITED STATES
Comments: This fan was an exact replacement for the original and by far exceeds my expatiations for the following reasons: The fan blade is constructed of plastic- which is a benefit being that it is exposed to saltwater! The fan is very quiet and I find myself from time to time actually having to look at it to see that it is running because I can't hear it as I could hear the noise from the previous fan that was replaced. Thanks again for stocking an excellent product and I will be purchasing more of these as the old ones "different brand" begin to fail! Thanks Again! Lee - Water Park Carwash Tech Mngr

effective cooling by WAYNE PHANEUF
Experience Level: Intermediate
Posted on 7/27/2008
Comments: Does a great job of keeping temp stable under an MH pendant on a 29 gal. Temp varies less than 0.5 degrees with fan timed to the lights. Not completely silent, but close. Wiring instructions would be nice for marginal DIYers like me, but that's not the fan's fault.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Good fan; not plug and play by Tangalot
Experience Level: Expert
Posted on 6/9/2008 from LAGUNA BEACH, CA UNITED STATES
Comments: I was disappointed that the power cords are not connected to the fans and no instructions are provided for wiring the fan. The "instructions" on the site are for the ice caps. Having said that, these are great fans if you know what you're doing, but they are NOT plug & play.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Too loud for the living room by David Karr
Comments: Not a bad fan if noise isn't a concern. But it's definitely too loud to put in your living room.
