There's a design flaw in the gloves which makes them leak. They glued two different pieces together and the glue breaks down quickly.
Owned these gloves and they worked okay for a short while. They began to stink really badly though from either sweat or salt water which gets into them. To make sure I wasn't putting my hands into a bacteria cess-pool I put rubbing alcohol into the gloves and let it evaporate. I believe this causes the gloves glue to breakdown and pull the two parts apart. I've stopped buying this brand and now buy Atlas nitrile gloves which I find to be better.

Bought these gloves to combat rabid Clownfish I have. The work great but you lose some dexterity with them (for example, you can't hold a razor blade with them). My only complaint is they have a rubber grommet up at the top of the sleeve which I guess is to clip them to something. But if you try to reach into the tank to their full length these holes let water in! I patched mine with some duct tape but I think that's a design flaw.

GOOD:Very thick and tough construction, after awhile you get used to working with the gloves but at first its almost impossible. In small tanks; MAKE SURE THE WATER LEVEL INSIDE THE TANK IS NOT CLOSE TO THE TOP or else you will likely push water out when you go in!
BAD:Like someone else said these gloves make for clumsy use! SPS corals are very sensitive so diving into a nano reef with these gloves on is dangerous. And although they are supposed to keep hands dry, go below 20 inches and they are FULL of water. Then comes the MOLD; impossible to flip completely inside out to dry so they are shot, twelve bucks isn't too much of a waste IF YOU CAN KEEP THEM DRY!! But I paid full price (back then I believe 25$) so this product is close to no stars!

The gloves are great until you get to the built in air hole, then you suck in water. For me, that means after about halfway down into my tank my gloves are useless.

These heavy-duty gloves will indeed protect your fingers from sharp rocks, and your arms from stinging tentacles. I find them stiff and clumsy to use. Even manipulating a pair of tweezers is a challenge. If they get wet inside, (and they will) they will mold. Be very careful either turn them inside out to dry or hang them from a hook or clip so they can dry out completely.

Simply put, after I first got into this hobby and had my first encounter with a bristle worm, I decided it would be my last. I never put my hands in the water without these gloves on. It protects my hands, the water and the animals.
