Have it in the shop. Too noisy for the house. Vibrates all over the floor. Puts out lots of air. Real happy about the air flow. House has been plumbed for the air for my aquariums.

I ordered this pump for a 65 gallon tank that's 24 inches deep, I used a Silent Giant but being since it's over 30 years old, it just could produce the air I needed for an under gravel filter. The first 2 days, the pump ran great, plenty of air to spare and not too loud. Then I heard a rattling noise and couldn't find the source. I removed the black air cleaner cover. Then Removed the 3 screws that hold a plastic cap that keeps a ball bearing in place. I sprayed a little silicone spray into the the back of the piston and on the ball bearing. Not too much, just a little and replaced all the screws and this pump now runs so quite. I'm sure somewhere down the line I'm going to repeat the silicone spray , buy I'm sure it won't affect the diaphram in the pump. In fact it may even help prolong it's life

There seems to be a need for a large capacity, efficient pump. I wish they still made the old Silent Giant...and this unit is not filling the bill. It get's incredibly hot, it's loud and it smells really weird, like it's ready to catch on fire any minute.

i love the output on his little pump. i have read other reveiws and seems to have problems after a year. if so ill write another review. but for now, i'm very happy with output,sound level and the compact size.

This is a great pump when it works and it did so for a year but now I have a diapham that has a crack and as I have been reading these reveiws I can see I'm not the only one who cannot get any parts for this. It is now a paper weight. I contacted the manufactuer and countless sites but there ARE NO parts avalible for this pump! Shame on them for having ZERO support for this product. I would not buy this pump because it is only a matter of time and you will need parts and there will not be a thing you can do about it. So though it works great, it doesn't work for all that long.

i love the power of the pump. and its doing what it said.. I do have a problem .. its loud and i had to make the air lines longer and put in a closet that was close .. to loud.

I got one of these pumps to drive the air stones on a skimmer. WHAT A JOKE. This thing fails in less then 3 foot of water!!!!! NOTE: I did try using larger diameter air line and that still wouldn't fix this "air pump"

I Have Super sluft pump pump is good until trying to get parts my gasket on the valve shaft cracked and I Havebeen trying to get one for about 2 mounths and the store i bought it from cant get it for me so the pump is worthless if you cantget repair kit so until you can fix that problem I will tell everyone not to get it unless you can please help me get my parts I feel like it is not worth 90 dollars for only about 1 year of using it thank you

Very good ,while it lasted,it serviced air to 8 different aquariums,but stopped working 2 months ago,after one year.Might have been because now it was only serving 2 aquariums. Havent had a chance to take it apart to find the problem.Would recomend it.Worth the money.
