Nice Jelly Tank

I have had this little Orbit 20 up and running in a classroom for about 2 months. It is a clever design with a donut-shaped compartment for biofilter and pump hidden behind the dark trim ring. It is working great for 2 moon jellies, though I have nothing to compare it to. It is a mini kreisel tank like you might see in a public aquarium. You adjust the flow to keep jellies drifting gently as they pulse - that is all that they do. They come with powdery food that smells like shrimp; we also feed them live artemia and rotifers daily. We ladle them into a feeding dish to reduce uneaten food in the tank. There is no heater, so easiest to select jellies that do well at room temp. You have many choices of light color and strobe effect which students like. Ours is placed on a counter so we covered the back or you see the wall and not the jellies. Super easy setup and silent. Definitely a simple setup if you want to keep jellies.
