Comments: The light is well made and works well. The brushed metal housing acts as a heat sink. The pendant itself as a secondary height adjustment making it easy to move the lamp out of the way for maintenance of the tank.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Stylish yet shocking by FELIX NIEVES

Comments: This is a very modern stylish HQI pendant that pairs well with an open top or glass top aquarium. However, beware if you utilize any accessories in which the power chord is submerged such as power heads or UV filters. While the arm allows you to move the light out of your way for routine maintenance it also means if your aquarium sits in a poorly lit area you will be moving your primary lighting source during cleaning. Which means that you wont be moving the light to far out of the way during cleaning increasing the chances that you make contact with the light while your arm is in the water. That has resulted in, yes you have guessed it, a rather memorable shock. Once I replaced the powerhead the problem subsided only to restart within a couple of months - shocking I know.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.
