Comments: The unit works well as described, but even at the lowest setting, the quantity of food dispenced into the aquarium is far too much. Also the unit doesnt work well with flake food if you have an overflow box. On my tank the flakes stay at the top of the water and is removed by the overflow within about 4-5 seconds. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Mine was easily programmed. However it wont feed at those programmed times. It works manually but not programmed. I am very displeased with this product! I Dont recommend it! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: We just returned from a 2-week vacation to find all our fish (10 gallon tank) alive and well, so very pleased with this product. We set it up 3 days before we left just to make sure it worked. However, the batteries that came with the feeder were completely dead by Day 2, so I would recommend putting your own in straight away. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Its the best value for the money, its cheap so don't expect much. It will work just fine but the battery life is only a couple of months so watch out for that. Also, you have to program it to drop food. Just putting in the time to drop food is not enough, you then have to tell it to drop the food at that time. The feeder should be mounted high off the water to avoid ruining the food inside. Its cheaply made but it gives you the most features for the money. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've gone though two of these. Both just stopped feeding. everything set, time passes by, still no food. I was checking it by pressing the button and it would feed so i thought it was working. But after a few weeks and still full compartment of food, realized the timer is not working. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I had issues with this feeder....I ordered one..sent it back...got another...sent it back. It would not work at all. Even bought brand new batteries. The reason why I bought it was the good reviews...but I did not have good luck with this feeder.....kinda cheaply made too. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Pro- 1) Easily programmable 2) Will mount to 99% of the aquariums out there. 3) Cheap. Con- 1) No way to clean the inside of the food canister. 2) Dispenser door fouls quickly if used continuously. 3) The filler door is cheesey and prone to allowing food to back fill into the motor. 4) Canister connection to motor is equally cheesy and sure to break. 5) Directions do not include diagrams or discuss how to seat the filler door. I have not tried any other feeders so I have no comparison, but if this is typical of feeder design then someone needs to go back to the drawing board. I would not recommend this feeder. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It works quite well, there are lots of options for when to feed and how much to feed. It's fairly large, so it took some work to mount the bracket on the tank with room for the hopper to rotate and easy access to refill the hopper. You can use some adhesive velcro to set it on your tank lid if you't want to bother with the bracket. My main complaint is even on the lowest setting it seems to drop in a lot of food. I only have three small fish at the moment, I'm thinking of putting a piece of tape over part of the slot that measures out the food so it won't drop in as much. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Awesome little machie that does what it says it will do. Don't lose the programming instructions, but i honestly think people exaggerate as to how hard it is to program, it's really not that bad. My only qualm with the feeder is that due to the little flap and how it delivers the food, I had to change my fish from pellet food to flake food for the while that I needed to use the feeder. Due to the weight inherent in pellet food, tablespoons of pellets would pour out of the hopper every time feeding was in order, which would only work in a gargantuan aquarium, not for one little fish. I imagine this is so with most feeders though, and my fish seems to have rather liked flake food, which is why I don't consider it too big a deal. All in all a good, economical, and reliable little product! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product works great. Now I know my fish are getting fed when I am away, at work or wishing to sleep in. The amount of food dropped is not enough to feed my fish in my 40 gallon tank so I have to double up on the feeding timer. They get 4 feedings twice a day. This work for us. The preset hole in the tank cover was too small. Half the food (flakes) landed on the cover. I had to make the opening larger. It didn't take long for my fish to get accustom to the feeder. They seem to keep a lookout fish under the feeder ready to give the alert. The idea I had to purchase this feed was to use only when I was away. But it makes feed them so easy I keep it on all the time. I also like the manual override. This way I can give them an extra snack whenever I want to. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

affordable, fits 12G aquapod by NILS

Comments: Can easily and securely mounted on 12G aquapod nanotank when feeding lid of tank is open or removed. Although aquapod looks less attractive with feeder it is a very reliable device when away. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
