Comments: In addition to the poor directions, this device did not work for me. No matter how the times are set, the lights are always on and never turn off. I tried several different approaches after reading the directions over and over with no luck. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: we're still trying to figure out the directions. there is one sentence in the directions that reads (For Example: If you want to the ON duration is one hour) we could make no sense of that sentence. the directions do not include which position to put the red switch in and the very end of the directions read ( Caution: It must be used within the power) my question is within the power of what. I'm sure we can figure out how to use a timer but it's very frustrating to order a product and recieve incomplete and poorly written directions.as to the answer , would i recommed this product i don't yet Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: As inexpensive as other (large chain store) timers but has added advantage of splash guard and two sockets. Simple, well built, and reliable. Have two and wouldn't hesitate to buy them for new set ups. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This timer seemed simple, and the reviews were good. I bouht 8 of them to run two tanks. Don't waste your money! They are not reliable. They randomly fail to turn off. I come down in the morning and they have left the tank lights on all night. I play with them, switch one unit for another and the same problem occurs. After 3 months, I have now thrown all 8 in the trash. I am going to look for something by INTERMATIC, the timer pros. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The directons were crummy, but once I figured it out, all was good. There is no separate "off switch" though - like I have with my single outlet timers, so turning it off before the timer sets it off is a pain b/c you have to fiddle with the little black ring (unless there is an easier way?). All in all, a good product though. Nothing has blown up on me yet. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: They are plugged into a non timed power strip. I now have seperate cycles for my sump/fuge,white moonlights, Blue moonlights, Power compacts, T-5's, and my metal halides. I even have powerheads that go one direction during the day and another at night! this also allowed me to hook up a Diatom filter to operate for 15 min in the morning and at night, and time my carbon filter! the last two are set up like that so I'm not removing too many pods and other beneficial critters from my tank. the whole timing setup cost under $20 bucks and my corals are multiplying so fast that I have to take frags to the fish store weekly! My hobby not only pays for itself, but It'sactually making ME MONEY!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
