I followed the directions for the water level and adjusted the air a little and it started foaming. I put the water pump on the side and it works better that way. Started with light brown color waste and is growing darker every day. I have had it running four days and the micro bubbles are slowly subsiding and my tank is clearer. I have herd a lot of complaints, but I have had no real problems. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
