Experience a whole new level of brightness with Nova Extreme, the first ever 24 hour, high output T5 lighting fixture. These high output lamps will pump so much light into your aquarium that your fish will need sunglasses.

Performance is Everything
Powered by an advanced electronic ballast, the high output T5 lamps are driven to their maximum potential while ensuring long lamp life. The patented circuitry inside each ballast ensures consistent high performance and low energy consumption while meeting FCC standards with EMI protection and low THD. All components are the highest quality available, meeting ISO 9001 standards, and are potted to reduce thermal stress and increase ballast life expectancy. German parabolic reflector increases light output up to 99%. Integrated ballast and lamps for efficient operation.

The Ultimate Spectrum
SlimPaq high output T5 lamps generate the ultimate spectrum for living reefs. Our proprietary blend of Nichia tri-phosphors provides maximum watts per lumen output, promoting high coral growth and excellent color rendition. Each fixture includes two 460nm Actinic Blue and two Daylight 10,000K SlimPaq high output T5 lamps.

Two independent ciruits with six foot grounded power cords independently control 10,000K Daylight lamps and 460nm Actinic Blue lamps.

Comments: I've only had the fixture up and running about a week. The supplied lamps look great and the quality of the fixture overall seems fine. My only complaint is the fan is pretty loud. Also, while I read some reviews that said this fixture comes with moon lighting, mine certainly didn't.

Comments: this light fixture is amazingly good..it comes with the moonlight setting already. i was thinking i would have to buy them separately. i was surprised with what i got and am happy with what i bought. i recommend this item to everyone.

Comments: this fixture is perfect for a 30 gl tank (36") the only light missing are the moon light but for a extra 25$ you can add on a strip of blue led perfect for moon light .. very please with this fixture good quality and perfect performance

Terrible Customer Service

Comments: Within three months of purchasing my unit three of the bulbs burnt out! Fortunately customer care replaced them even though I was outside the 90 warrantee. Then about two months of use later one of the ballasts blew. I contacted CurrentUSA and was provided the name and website of the ballast vendor and told to purchase a new one through them. They acknowledge their is some problem with this unit but refuse to do anything to correct it or take any responsibility for it. Save your time and money and go with a different brand. Specifically a company that will provide you a customer service number where you can talk with a person and not just wait for a return phone call after leaving a message!!!

Comments: runs hot. exhaust fan requires another plug/transformer. i don't see why you would use the light without the fan on therefor the fan should be powered with the lights and save another spot on the surge protector. keep in mind that it is designed for top of the aquarium only with no easy way to hang this light.

Comments: I have purchased many T5OH lights and I am very impresed with this unit. As soon as I turned this fixture on, my sand glowed! I have a 55 galloon and I am highly impressed. It is so bright that it lights up my entire classroom. This makes my other tanks look "blah" becuase this light is so good and the others what can I say. Good price. Only con is the legs are cheap and are somewhat difficult to install. Once finished this is an awesome unit. The fan is not LOUD like other comments would say! Comments: Definitely enough light for my 75 gallon/70lbs live rock and so far one mushroom coral. My clowns and yellow tang show great color. Wish the fan was on the side blowing across the fixture, but it seems to be doing an adequate job.
