Comments: I bought two for my 300 gallon built in tank. They exceed expectations in every way! Very easy to install. No problem getting the bulb into the fixture (5 seconds). The timer is a simple hardware store mechanical variety, nothing special. I will use a digital powerstrip timer instead. The moon lights are great. The critters really seem to like the color spectrum. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: wonderful light. Works great. Easy to install. Only extra was dlipping a spot for the wiring to go threw at the ceiling. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This was the first MH that I have purchased. i have a 24 gallon JBJ Nano Cube and when i switched to this light i could not believe how blue it made my tank look. The LED lights are nice but i like more of a blue look at night and the LED are white so I had to by another night light but its cool. The set up was easy and i didnt have a hard time putting the bulb in. But its really strange what you have to do to get the bulb in, you have to grab the inner metal liner ring thing and twist it and then pull it out. i dont know if im even describing it so anyone could understand. i had to call marine depot and the guy had to pull one out and ask a few people there how get the bulb in. But the 14 K light is super blue and i got it cheap for like $130 and now its like 100 more so i bought at a good time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The cord is not well thought out. A pendant light should have enough cord to place the ballast in a under aquarium cabinet or on the floor. The ballast on this one is around 4 feet from fixture mounting plate so I had to put mine in the attic to avoid having to mount it on the wall in view. At the new price of 239.00 go for something else (maybe a sunpod) I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Look around online stores, EBay etc. You will not find this light for under $200. I've seen it many places for $300 and more, and on many forum classifieds, used ones go for over $200. The moonlights look great. I recently purchased three of these units and am more than happy .. especially with the price. I actually only need 2 of them for my 5 ft. tank, so I will sell someone local my other one for .... lets say .... $200. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Can't beat the $130 price for halides. I hung it off of shelf brackets on the wall. The moonlights are a nice touch. Mine even came with a timer. I deducted a star for not having a fan. But if you have a fan on the tank or a chiller, it's no big deal. Sweet! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The light produced from the fixture looks great, the fixture itself looks nice, the ballast are small and easily mounted, and the price is fantastic. The cons are several as well however. The cord from where it mounts to the ceiling to the ballast is only about 6 feet long, which means it has to run directly down from the point where it comes out of the ceiling, if it were another 5 feet or so, you could run the wires neatly along the wall. The bulbs are really hard to place in the fixture because the ends are too tightly spring loaded. Overall, for the price, it is a nice setup for those who do not want a canopy. The price compared to a full hood with 2 MH's would be twice the price. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I loved this lite it was really easy to hang and gave a very well blue spectrum on the tank. The corals have doubled in size and color since i got the lite and everything is doing great. The lite makes the water so clear its like looking into the ocean its wonderful. I recommend this lite to all aquarium enthusiasts. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It looks very nice and even came with a free timer, The lunar lights are white and I think will be too bright for a bedroom tank, the ballast also hums softly which may distract your sleep. Overall its an excellent fixture, but like the other reviewer said the bulb was a tight fit. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a great fixture, I gave it 4 stars. The positives are:GREAT PRICE!! nice style, comes with a timer, nice reflector, LED's, The negatives are a few minor details, there is no notch in the top plate to run the cables and keep the ceiling flange level, I just cut one out of the plastic, but it should have been there to begin with and the bulb was very difficult to get in, the connectors are a bit to tight and it took a screwdriver to get it in Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
