Comments: These filter pads last a long time in my 20 gallon. I havn't even finished my 6 from a year ago but I'm getting ready for next year.

A good product

Comments: The picture is a little misleading because you don't get bio-balls with the replacements (I know there is no need to replace them). The charcoal and filter pads are fine. The charcoal bags are little smaller than the filter, and I wonder if the water flows through the charcoal or around. The Subcurrent Internal Filter itself was sold to me as an alternative to a skimmer. It is not-at least for my 25gal with multiple leathers. It is a filter with the added advantage of being able to direct the flow. I will probably get a skimmer when budget allows.
