Comments: Giesemann Aquablue+ lamps have great PAR with a great color. I would say it definitely meets its claim of having a 12000K color, though I might place it a bit closer to 10000K (maybe 11 is about right). As powerful as a daylight bulb without the yellow, it gives a crisp white with just enough blue to tip it past the 10000K spectrum. As with a daylight bulb, it doesn't really produce any fluorescence. I am running two of these along with two actinics in a four-lamp AquaticLife fixture. The color comes out around 12-13000K, as the Aquablue+ are very bright and overpower the actinics a bit. Keep that in mind if you run actinics with them during the day and hope for a nice deep blue. This lamp gives you all the benefits of a daylight lamp (great PAR, whitens things up a bit) without the drawbacks (yellowing). Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: First time ever replacing the bulbs in my tek light fixture and after putting these new bulbs in you can toatally tell a difference in color everyting is much brighter and coloring up nicely in my sps tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: For those interested in getting the maximum PAR in their tank, a Giesemann Aquablue or Daylight bulb is worth two Actinics. A four bulb setup with all aquablues is about 20 - 25% more powerful than a setup using two Aquablues or Daylight bulbs and two Actinics. Color in the Aquablue is decent, though there is little flouresence in the corals. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: the quality of blue light/coral growth i get when my tank is in top notch condition is really sweet. i love giesemann and will continue to use their bulbs as long as my tank is lit with t5. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
