A special 60:40 combination of 6000K and 22000K (approx) phosphor blend.

It is specifically designed for reef aquariums mimicking sea water to a depth of one to twenty meters. It can be used for growing SPS corals up to 80cm in the aquarium.

Shipping Costs

We can pack up to 6 lamps per box. Since fluorescent bulbs require special handling and packaging, we will only ship fluorescent bulb and power compact bulb orders of four or more bulbs free of shipping cost. 48" bulbs are shipped free only if 6 or more bulbs are ordered. 48" lamps ship as an oversize package (30 lbs package).

Comments: For those interested in getting the maximum PAR in their tank, a Giesemann Aquablue or Daylight bulb is worth two Actinics. A four bulb setup with all aquablues is about 20 - 25% more powerful than a setup using two Aquablues or Daylight bulbs and two Actinics. Color in the Aquablue is decent, though there is little flouresence in the corals.

Comments: Excellent light, adds good color to my tank. Its also a good supplement to my midday 6000k bulbs.
