ROWAphos is the professional method of removing Phosphate and Silicate in all types of Aquariums and Ponds. It has the largest absorption ability of any phosphate product and will not leach back in to the water.

ROWAphos is the most effective phosphate remover on the market today. It is widely used in Europe and is now finding success in the United States. ROWAphos was developed in Germany to reduce Phosphates in the Main Water Supply. It is being used in lakes and ponds and has been refined for the Aquarium Market. ROWAphos will not only remove phosphates but will never release them back into the system.

It has the largest absorption ability of any phosphate product in the market today. This saves the need for immediate removal once the media is full. The product is easy to use and will improve the water quality wherever Phosphate or Silicate is a problem. It is of interest to Marine and Reef Aquariums where its unrivalled capabilities have shown it to be extremely beneficial in the control of nuisance algae’s and the growth of hard corals. Unlike other phosphate removal products, it does not shock the animals or cause problems when used regularly. In fact constant use of the product is recommended, as its abilities to control nuisance algae is a major benefit.

  • 100ml of RowaPhos will lower the phosphate level by 1ppm in a 50 gallon salt water tank (or a 170 gallon freshwater tank).
Removes 12G of phosphate per kg of media:

100mL - Removes 1ppm phosphate from 630 gallons of freshwater and 315 gallons of salt water
250mL - Removes 1ppm phosphate from 1580 gallons of freshwater and 790 gallons of salt water
500mL - Removes 1ppm phosphate from 3160 gallons of freshwater and 1580 gallons of salt water

*Works great in a canister filter or with TwoLittleFishie`s Phosban Reactor or Kent Marine`s Phos Reactor.

Comments: I've always tried controlling phosphates with water changes and minimizing feeding. Now that I have installed a reactor loaded with ROWA phosoban, I can feed my gorgonians daily and not worry about overfeeding the fish No more algae blooms and the coralline algaes are spreading faster. This product has definatly made the hobby more enjoyable and less work.If you haven't set-up a system with the ROWA phosoban yet, you are spending to much time cleaning and less time enjoying your reef.

Comments: This product does indeed work. Just put it into your canister and watch the results. It will last approximately 1 to 1 1/2 months before needing to change the media out for my setup at least. When My sand starts to look dirty.....bingo that's the sign to change the media. It really has taken care of my algae issues and I had them for years too.

Comments: After using this stuff for a year, I wouldn't set up another tank without it. It saves so much time not having to deal with cyano or green hair algae. Glass stays cleaner for longer too. Best way to use is in a reactor, but you can run it in a filter bag in a high flow area.

Comments: I was excited to try the RowaPhos since it has great reviews. I suppose I expected a bit more from the product than the results I received; however. It does help to maintain the Phosphate levels in the tank but not at the unbelieavble degree the writeups I'd been reading prior to my first purchase. I do like the produect and will continue with another order. Best of luck to all. Pat. Mine is a 65gal reef tank with 15 or so fish - quite lovely.

Comments: This product has five stars for a reason! I have been using it for about two weeks, and it has removed all of my measureable phosphates, and as a result the cyano, hair and slime algae problems that I had are gone! Like magic! I am using it in a NextReef reactor, and it is working very well! I am very pleased with this product! Best of all, it doesn't "let go" of the bad stuff when it is all filled up, like other products. Just be sure to flush it before use, as it will turn your tank orange! I just overfill my tank with five gallons, and then put the outlet hose into the empty five gallon bucket, start the pump and let all of the orange water go into that, then go dump it. If you are having algae problems, this is a great product!

Comments: This product works vary well an it works fast. The only suggestion I have is when you first start up your reactor make sure the pump is in a bucket with RO water because the first 5 gallons of water will be dark orange, you don't want that in your tank.
