Comments: I installed the pump yesterday, and it is not as quiet as I had hoped. My 6-year old cheapie pump I bought at Petco is quieter. I am a disappointed.... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It is nice, but I thought it would be a little stronger. Its small, very quit, nice and solid. Its a good pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The pump is quiet, actually more quiet than Rena and Whisper pumps. I have a 40 gallon tank and am running (2) 4x4 sponge filters. This pump was not strong enough to operate both efficiently, so I returned it for the Dolphin Two Star. Will report on that one after I receive it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Works great, does what it's suppose to and is not very loud...what else can you want from an air pump. Two outlets on a small pump was definitely a plus as well. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased the dolphin p1 almost 5 years ago to power a 2 air stones in a 29 gallon tropical tank and it works great. and it is ultra quiet!!! As with any air pump just keep it on a flat surface. I'm sure this will give me many more years of quiet trouble free service. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: A couple of years ago I had purchased two of these five star pumps; they are still operating just fine. I purchased two new ones because of the reliability and the amount of air these pumps produce. These cannot be compared with all the other pumps I've used and have usually discarded after a short period of time. I'm very satisfied with the five star. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have two of these. One is running an 18" bubble wall in my 55g and a large sponge filter in my 20g planted tank. It is well made and very sturdy. It does tend to be on the large size but it is very quiet! Beats out a Rena I had, which has now been delegated to be a back-up/spare. My next one will be the 5 Star. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Contrary to the hype, "So quiet you`ll swear it`s not running," this is a noisy air pump. While it nicely powers the aquarium air stone, its noise is intrusive and annoying. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It is larger than I was expecting. I am using it to stir the water prior to my water changes. It delivers lots of air on each of the 4 outlets. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I haven't had this pump long enough to find out its useage life, however, I am replacing a Dolphin pump that was used under adverse conditions (to areate a tank of gold fish outdoors) lasted just under 5 years. I replace the failed one with this one and so far it seems fine. It is quiet and has plenty of volume. The only complaint I might have with Dolphin pumps is that the only replacement parts for them are the large rubber bellows. My old pump wore out both of the small rubber valves that actually performed the pumping. It would be nice if Dolphin offered these tiny rubber valves too, but then I wouldn't have had to buy a new one would I? Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Was impressed with the advertising. But in less than 3 months, with only one air stone connected, it slowed until it pumped no more. Will rebuild and give one more chance. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Used this for my 90 gal. Worked well and at a very reasonable price, definately outbeat "Optimum" and others which cost me 3 times as much and lasted 3 mos. ! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
