Comments: I've been in the hobby for the past 15+ years and I have to say this is one of the quietest pumps I've ever owned. The only issue I had was the manufacture could have made a treaded intake and outlet for the pump to create a faster install. I've had other pumps with a quick fitting for this type of insulation. However, beyond that, I would recommend this pump if you’re looking for a QUITE running system. Can't speak to long term performance since this has only been running for 2-weeks. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Below Average

Comments: I have had this pump for 2 years and have already put 3 new seals on it and this last one about 6 months old is starting to leak. No amount of pre filtration seems to help this pump. If you don't want a flood or to have to buy a new pump later down the road don't buy a dolphin pump. I am looking at a Reeflo as I hear there seals are vastly superior to Dolphin. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've used the 7500 to push water upstairs for a 180g reef tank which worked excellent. The 5600 I use on my koi pond. Both run great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am very happy with the dolphin AMP Master 4000/300. It is very quiet and has good water flow. However, I wish there were a valve available to prevent my having to prime the pump everytime I have to restart it. E. Magro Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is my second Dolphin 5600...my first one developed a seal leak after pumping straight up 13 feet for five years!!! I resealed and have it plumbed in as the backup so I can reseal the new one in 5 or 10 years without going off line...what a superior inexpensive to operate pump! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I needed a quiet pump so I bought a Quiet One 9000 and it absolutely SUCKED, it's so loud I don't even use it. The smaller quiet one pumps are quiet but the 9000 is not, probably why they don't sell it on this site. I have two 5700/4700 Dolphin pumps as well as this 3200/2700 and they all rock! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Yesterday, I took it apart to clean it, and found a whelk stuck in the impellar section. I wasn't able to remove the impellar itself (is that even an option?), I would not recommend this product to my friends.
