Marine and Freshwater Clarifier Concentrate encapsulates all suspended matter with a Bio Magnetic coating—which attaches to all mechanical filter media with a strong electronic bond! Aquarium water contains fine suspended particles. These particles can be made up of algae, silt, bacteria, and other colloidal material. These particles usually carry a negative charge and filter media often carries the same negative charge. This causes the filter media to repel the suspended matter making the particles difficult to filter from the water. Super Clarifier is composed of polyvalent inorganic salts (freshwater formula), or an inorganic colloid (marine formula), that is bonded to a unique polymer with a positive electrical charge. This aqueous solution also contains a bacterial attractant. This homogenous mixture seeks out and encapsulates the suspended matter. These snared particles become positively charged.
